Sorry Enchanted but I have to disagree with you on what's fair and what's not. Had the webmaster clearly posted on his site that this GPTREM was a "search only" program - I wouldn't have joined in the first place and promoted his program in good faith that it was indeed what I was signing up for a GPTREM and not a GPTS.

Sorry usdollars, I think you misunderstood.
What I meant was, most sites send search mails. Members are requested to make a search, ONLY IF they feel like searching. If anyone click on such mails, they should perform a valid search. If the WM finds out people who are clicking and not performing valid searches, then deleting them is fair. I was not referring to sites sending search mails only. It was a general comment.
If a webmaster is promoting mostly search links and expect his members to be 75% active, then that is wrong. That means, he is forcing members to search. I for one would quit such a program for two reasons.
1. Because I hate searches and DON'T search at all, even if the link is 2-3 cents or whatever the value is.
2. I have heard that some webmasters don't get paid for traffic from Asia. So it would be unfair for me to click and perform a search when I am not sure whether the webmaster is paid for the search or not.
I don't know how else to clarify my point
