Hello all-
I was just reading another thread in the complaints folder and it made me wonder...
Are gold memberships worth the extra cost?
Thanks for reading.

It helps if you dont know how to get many referrals yet. I wouldnt pay more than $10 though. The problem with the new companies is they seem to lose their databases alot and you have to resign. There are alot of good new ones though ....keep checking the praises folder

AYS is probably one of the best for gold memberships if you can get at least 2 refs by yourself. It is a great program to earn with and it is one of my favorites. If you need more information, you can contact me.

points to look for when paying for gold memberships (at least for me)
webmasters history (like Gilby, GypsyDad, PenniesByEmail - popular programs with good history - sure bet everyone is going to signup)
what do you get out of it? free monthly ads (a good one) - not the one time thing.
low payout
if all pass on the 3 criterias............... START EARLY ON THESE!!

penniesbyemail has a "no frills gold" package for only $5.00. You get put in rotation for free referrals & in the past few months since I bought it i've recieved 29 direct referrals (43 total) & I have earned enough off the referrals to get the $5.00 back I spent.........

there are a few programs like GypsyDad who are a sure bet when going gold, but most new programs are a risk, but the good way to get the most referals with gold is to go gold when the program starts, so its a risk to take, if the program works out to be good you'll surely earn alot, but if they reset their database or such you will lose your money

A gold membership that offers ADVERTISING as part of the deal is always a good idea - not just referrals.
I have gold memberships in maybe three programs, all of whom gave me my money's worth in ads.
