Hmm... Why is it that netscape became outshadowed by other new ones? They were the original ones to stand up to the giant IE.

I use Firefox

first, Crazybrowser on those sites what have a problem with Firefox. (Payout button at CassandrasClicks won't work on Firefox but will on Crazybrowser.)
I downloaded and tried Opera about 4 years ago, and didn't care for it. Also, I couldn't get it uninstalled. At that time, I had to go into registries and make changes. That's something I don't do.
With IE

The last time I used it for just a few minutes, my Norton flagged a virus on the next scan. That's when I downloaded Crazybrowser.

My vote goes for Opera...firefox comes next.
And my
ANTI-vote goes for IE...reasons:
- terrible to use
- security
- IE's support for existing web standards (HTML/css)
- just take this test with ie and see how it looks like

if you can even ques what the image should be
http://www.webstandards.org/act/acid2/
...and if you have opera/firefox, compare the results...I'm sure you'll notice the difference

Well - I am torn between Firefox and Opera
Hubby is for Opera and me for Firefox... I had problems a while back with a website and so he convinced me to use Opera... Well... Opera is terrible to use for reading my mails - it takes hours to open the links from Outlook - Firefox is quick and I have my ToolBar Folder there with "QuickLinks" - so to say. Opera -> open favorites, search for your site and then go... On the other hand the features "Paste&Go" and "MagicWand" are great in Opera.
I can't display my CCAdminArea with FireFox properly, somehow it is mixed, IE crashes if you hold F5 one milisec too long - so there Opera is great.
But whatever, IE s....

Just so you know.
IE7 is going to be tabbed etc way better its all beta right now and they want you to give feedback as its in early beta stages but sometime next year it might be mass available.
I did get a PM for a link to 1 but you have to signup to the forum to get it.

PS I might switch to them lol, not now ofcourse but when its out full version theres a good chance.

I use Firefox. Even when surfing 25 autosurfs at once it's stable and I got only 256 MB RAM

Firefox combines most of the best features, stability, and secutiry. Some other browsers have features I wish Firefox had, but overall Firefox is the best in my opinion.

sounds nice, might try it in the future- but then again the priority of hackers/trojan and adware makers is IE, its pretty much likely they'll get around IE7 in one way or another :S microsoft needs to get their act together and make as few security flaws as possible

thats one of the things the pm from the IE& tester who pmd me showed me in the article.
BTW, Olivier Robbins of WeAllGetPaid.net votes for FireFox also.
I dont know where he is lol even my site isnt a priority for him lol.

PS I fprgot to add: I love Opera cause its more userfriendly for my nontech brain of trying to figure out features and extensions etc. But, If for some reason Opera wouldnt for awhile and IE wasnt to happy with GPF then Id try netscape lol b/c I do love it and crazy cause I love it but I think since they both dont have all my bookmarks Id go to Firefox real quick.

My vote goes towards opera. I have had experience with many other browsers before and in my opinion opera is the best one out there. It has a nice interface, it's quick, has a built in mail client, secure. The list goes on and on. I used to use firefox but after trying out opera I didn't go back. If you haven't used it yet I recommend you give it a shot.

Fire fox or Crazy browser. Has anyone tried the new internet explorer beta they have available. I have tried it and I must say it works nicely mind you it is a beta version and has a few bugs in it. But it can open multiple tabs and has popup blocker and a philshing filter built in which is also nice.
It's free to download.
