Powerball Jackpot Grows to New Record of $340 Million, No Winner Saturday
Wednesday's Powerball jackpot will be the largest in its history, $164.4 Million Cash Value
Jefferson City, Mo. - infoZine - Because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday's drawing, the jackpot will roll to an estimated $340 million.

If a single winner can match all six numbers to win the game's jackpot prize of $340 million on Wednesday night, he or she will receive approximately $9.7 million before taxes each year for the next 30 years, or take the prize in one lump-sum payment of $164.4 million.
With the Powerball jackpot up to an estimated $340 million for this Wednesday night's drawing, the Missouri Lottery is reminding players to play responsibly.
"We want to be sure players play within their means," said Larry Jansen, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. "It only takes $1 to play."
Jansen noted that people who do plan to buy a ticket for the drawing should try to do so early to avoid long lines that happen closer to the drawing. The terminals in Missouri will close at 8:59 p.m. on Wednesday night.
"Players should sign the back of their tickets and put them in a safe place," Jansen said. "Then, be sure to check them closely; even if you don't win the jackpot, you might have won one of the eight other prizes in the game."
