I think most of us don't want this kind of crap in our inboxes with all the other crap we get.

Please stop spamming us members with this!

For those interested in jmocha.com please make a bid to webmaster@tombmailer.com

This is a site with no paid to read email script you will have to provide that. Otherwise your all set to go and don't have to worry about a name or a design for it. aa.gif

I guess she/ he wants you to make a price for the site and you will upload your script on it after you buy it.

Just a thought

Well, signing up to their program implies that you don't mind getting non-paid ads every now and then (unless they state that all emails are paid)... ac.gif

If you don't like it, then don't join. ad.gif Basic.

Is that your site? Who made the design?

Superfly is right When you sign up for a program you agree to receive all emails paid or non-paid. and it's not spam for her to send it. Because you opt in to receive all emails from her.

Positive_thougths I think Rhea with Tombmailer made the site from her designing place.. not sure but I think..

I like it too! It's even cooler than all the Lara Croft stuff she had up at the beginning. I like the little story too, and the part where she said something like 'if you steal my story I will "Kick your Butt"' (and that part was in quotes) LOL! ab.gif

i agree. that's why i quit. i didn't really want to, because i thought the program was good, but i had had enough. the non-paid emails had increased dramatically since i started. i signed up for the paid mails - this is what a 'paid to' program is about imho.
snooprobbyrob
Tombmailer was pretty cool at first, when I started to receive more and more junk mail, I said that I've had enough and quit the program, when there are about the same amount of non-paid mails as paid mails this is when I quit.

Don't waste your breath ... she doesn't get it. Her selfabsorption causes the concept of "respect for members" to be a foreign entity. It's really not worth your time or energy to give it another thought. Though, a person does sigh with relief as one presses the unsubscribe button on the site aa.gif

Here is her response regarding complaints of this nature. It causes a person to say "hmm...."

Just read it...pretty much what I'd say if I was a program owner. ac.gif All very true, as well.
iceblink2
yup she sure does have a awful program.
nychic24
Well, in the program's defense, if you are just there to read the paid emails, then delete the other emails when you see it is "crap". That is personally what I do with most programs that send out non-paid mails. If I see that it is just blabbing without any information about the site, I hit delete without much waste of time. If I see it has paid links, I read the emails carefully.

You have it right, SuperFly.

It is in the TOS of most programs; that you may also receive nonpaid emails and some programs that come out, in marketing themselves, say they will not send you nonpaid emails.

Spamming?

Not as long as you are a member of said program.

Most of my experiances, including Tombmailer, were not that bad at all, not "out of control" spamming; just the occasional informational or promotional kind.

Sending info on advert prices, for example.

As Rhea would say, if she were here, "if you don't like it, leave" or "can't you people read the TOS"

Nice lady once you get to know her.

I am not an apologist for her; unsubscribed at about $2.50 when the payout went from up from 5 to 7 dollars.

It was her right to do that; "subject to change" (in TOS) and I respect that.

Besides if one becomes too attached to a program, just for the money, well, I won about 60 bucks Cdn over the weekend, on two hockey bets LOL.

I am into the promotional assets that a program offers and then funnel all earned adverts to a reputable and stable program; ie. one that does not change it's TOS every week; whether in payout amount or in oversending nonpaids.

Well, that is my strategy, anyway.

This board is not filled with complaints on this subject, because it's an acceptable practice.

I have a fairly high tolerance level, and have quit less than 5 programs since I got involved in this.

I truly enjoy the webmasters/webmistresses I deal with. There are greener pastures than the graveyard! I intend to keep supporting the people that have a business sense of cooperation with their members. I don't expect all emails to be paid, but I won't stay involved with a program that takes advantage of having access to my personal information. Neither will I stay involved with a program who sends nonpaid emails that make me feel embarrassed for the webmaster/webmistress that sent them.

I think Earners is at the point that many have reached or will reach if the situation doesn't change.

Everyone can say "quit if you don't like it". The thing is it's the venting that Earners came to do. I think Earners is smart enough to know the choices aa.gif

That isn't going to solve your problem. Try being responsible to your members, stop flooding their mailboxes with unwanted e-mails. All your going to do is lose members. Don't fall back on the right to do so because of your tos. Responsible WM don't abuse the right to send non paid e-mails in supporting your views, or every thing with a referal link that you signed up for. They join to earn money, not to become your unpaid readers.

give me a break i haven't changed my tos in months and i have sent anything out since the email brenda had sent out. you people really don't know jack about me so say what u want cause i dont care

hhhmmm....

Well read all the posts. Glad I am not a part of this.
I cannot believe that a program owner would use such language and
act so irresponsibly. This would not be the way to start or run a business.
Who would want to join or stay after seeing this?? lmao

I am a member of tombmailer.. She was one of the first ptrp's I signed up for over a year ago.. I have cashed out I have bought a gold membership and if members will noticed she has changed her emails... She has quit all talking in them.. So why not give her a break.. You all complained that you did not like the non-paid emails/talking in emails and she has quit that.. To me that shows that she cares about what members think and try's to accomodate her member's wishes...
