Is the "tropical depresssion" going to hit you? I heard on the radio that my area could get 2-4 inches of rain and the "eye" is supposed to hit Akron around midnight, and that's not too terribly far from me...just wondering if you're getting any of that!

Yeah.. we're supposed to get some decent rain for pretty much the whole day.. it's been raining since before I woke up, but I heard reports it should be into this evening and maybe over the next couple days as well. 
I just worry about those who live down south.. mdevandry (Misty) is in TN, and they actually cancelled school for her son.. probably because of possibility of flooding, power outtages, and maybe even tornadoes
And those even more south of TN.. jeez. Who knows how long those areas are going to be flooded for. The arial shots of homes under water is just so... OMG. I can't even describe what it looks like to me, so I can't imagine what it must be like for somebody to have lived through that.
Hopefully Star and everyone else affected is ok... is safe somewhere.

Yes.. I HATE the thunder. lighting (which is dangerous, I realize) is cool to look at.. but I can't stand the noise of thunder.
Okay..I'm not so strange then...ah, what am I saying, I can't be comparing myself to you...

Better not flood in my basement...that's where my computer is!At least it's not storming..just lots of rain...at least here, anyways.
