I'm having trouble with the way my site looks in different resolutions. It looks best in 800 x 600.

How do you get a page to look right in all screen sizes?
petcalent
It can be usually fixed using % percentages instead
of pixels on the table/cell sizes. Also don't use
unusual fonts. What's the concrete trouble?
Debby369
I was wondering why it had 100% for some of the fields! that gives me a clue. aa.gif

The concrete problem is that when someone views my site in a resolution > 800x600 it looks all messed up. I don't know about tables. I have one of those 1000's of look alike GPTR sites that I am trying to make look more unique. I have a phanthom space that I can't get rid of and ontop of that I am not HTML literate enough to fix it. I've been reading different helps but it just makes my head hurt. aj.gif

When I run one of those help programs I get fatal errors because of so many errors. The site runs great but the aesthetics needs work.

Nevermind. ae.gif

yep it's plenty of errors duplicates and overlaps, ao.gif
maybe you'll be better starting a new one from zero, bit to
bit day to day. ac.gif

I does not look all messed up...
it is just too alike to many other GPTR sites ^^

what are you exactly talking about?
maybe I can help you ac.gif

You can see the phantom looking at the side at
1024 x 768.
You could fix it setting the left column to 20% and
two colums on the right at 40% something similar like
this one:
(Now I'm editing and deleting the sample page, ok)

But actually you can't do it because interferes
whit other settings on the site. The tbodys are
also unproperly setted.
You need to put some effort in it or thinking for
another option. ac.gif

Thanks a lot for the help aa.gif
I know it has loads of errors but it still loads fairly quick. I am still learning and reading lots. I got the site that way so I don't know what's going on as I would if I had tried to build it. Thank heavens I didn't have to. I tried the table thing and I think it is looking ok now in different screen sizes.

P.S. If you think it looks like a lot of them now you should have seen it when I first got it hahaha
