I've heard the pro's and con's of both of these services. I've been using fastclick for the past 5 years and haven't REALLY had too many problems... However, I've heard that Google offers higher CPM... Is this true?
With fastclick I'm averaging about $.43 per 1000 impressions. If google is higher I might consider switching, or putting them in a rotation. I'd like some input on those who have used both.

I haven't used both programs so I couldn't make a comparison. However, I can tell you that with Google AdSense the cost per click depends entirely on the theme of your site/pages and on the quality of traffic you are able to deliver.

OK thanks, but do you get paid entirely on clicks? Fastclick pays me mostly on impressions, with a few CPC's thrown in the mix.
If that is the case, where you get paid only for clicks, then you would probably be able to put the banners in forums and photo galleries, right?

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure about forums or photo galleries. All though I do have a site with a lot of graphics myself (which is what my site is about) and I have been using AdSense without problems for more than two years (some pages are text rich, other pages are poor on text but rich on graphics).
AdSense has only been paying for clicks. But just recently they implemented cpm, when they are paying per impression. I have no idea if this is working well or not, and it's not really showing in my stats.
By the way, the lowest you'll earn on a click is 3 cents, but usually you'll earn more, and sometimes a lot more.

It's a new thing. Just got inplemented a couple of months ago. They did send an admin mail about it, but it's not showing in the stats.

Only if your site gets more than 2 million page views a month.

You could try casale media or burst, and set it up such that one is the default of the other.

I was just checking out the fastclick pages, and they say they pay by Either check Or Paypal ? $50.00 Minimum monthly ?
Also, has anyone used fastclick on a page with ptr related material on it ? any problems with using fastclick for a ptr related site ?
Thanks all.
MO.

I haven't used it on a ptr site, but I can tell you that fastclick can be picky from time to time. If there are too many sites from a certain genre, they'll stop accepting people from that genre.
Just a quick note* I've been running google for about 2 weeks now and so far it's not bad.
