Hello, just recieved email from commission Junction that they will begin charging $10.00 for those who don't have any commission for 6 months. I didn't join to pay them, and I have not made 1 commission off of any of the programs I belong to.

I am trying to sign out of the program, but can't find out where I can. Does someone know?

Thank you.

I had the same problem with them last year and I had not found any options in account settings.
It seems you need to email them. But they can't charge if you have not positive balance. They will simply close your acc automatically.

PS
I make good money with CJ but it takes time and efforts.
Look what you can make with them:

I'm sorry, but I find that amount made very hard to believe.

I am also leaving CJ. I've got $33 in my account. but many of the programs are slow to get sign-ups on. Besides, I just think that charge is wrong and uncalled for.

aa.gif When I started 2 years ago, my CJ checks were no more than $100...
But I'm constantly learning e-marketing and SEO, and I've found great strategy called "mini-sites".
Also I use paid advertising in quality ezines etc.
All you need to be happy with CJ:
1. Targeted traffic
2. Some web-design and copywriting skills
3. Offers with good conversion rate and EPC (BTW, some of them are totally free for users)

The fact is you must learn-and-try... learn-and-try... learn-and-try... The money will follow.

I started to make money online using get-paid companies and I was totally disappointed with them - too many not qulified work (like clicking etc) and too little money as a result. I believe they are not the way to serious business. Especially, if you are not the owner of get-paid company... All these downlines, incentivised actions ("click me please" or "get-paid-1-cent") are missing real advertising power for advertisers. Most serious merchants don't like that kind of deal. Because users who are paid by sponsors are not ready TO BUY. They simply want to make a few cents and... to forget about merchant's offer. Isn't it? ac.gif

Real customers come from SEs, ezines and others not-incentivised ad resources.

So, I made a simple website for people who are now like I was 2 years ago. Also I can advice you to download FREE Affiliate Masters Course. It was my first learning step and it helps me GREATLY.
Print it and read (PDF): http://work-at-home-business-ideas.com

Cj was nice a long time ago, it does took a lot of time and effort to make money with them, I remember 2 years ago or 3 there was a good compagny called e-wanted that paid you 3.50$ the lead ! And some others that were paying you 1$ the lead, and guy had only to put his emal and thats all you made 1$ . It was nice nice , i had only 3 checks with them well I guess it's better than nothing ae.gif . But now I just can't find any good sponsor, so I guess I'll close my account if I find how hehe

CJ used to be the best aa.gif but now shareasale rules aa.gif REALLY aa.gif
CJ does not have good lead sponsors that do not need a credit card and almost all visitors to my site are younger and do not have a credit card aa.gif and thats why I recommend Shareasale clickXchange and clixGalore!

If you want to join please PM me and be my referral aa.gif

too bad that all good things must come to and end. You know that there would be no need to charge people if they have not made any commissions. They are only out to make money because they themselves are losing money. This would be the only reason why they would do this after so many years.

Cj was great when they started just as most startups are but they all eventually go downhill. Next time anyone just wants to give away money. my jar is open. lol

as the intetnet marketing strategies move in different directions so will the programs that we have become accustomed to in the past. This includes all affiliate programs. they are slowly but surely dwindling away.
attagirl
They cannot charge, you since when you signed up you did not agree and they have not given you more than 30 days since it was implemented. and their terms say they will giv eyou 30 day notice prior to changes. They cannot just deducted cause if you have no money there is nothing to deduct it from.
