Yesterdaynight some friends of me where chillin' somewhere and they were out of beer so went out to find beer somewhere, in front of a small caf? they sat down on a bank with some other guys. One of them kicked in a window and when the police arrived they all started running. One of my friends was caught up by the cops, they took him back to their car and a lot of people who were around there said it wasn't him who did it.

They took him to the police office and he had to stay there one night. The next morning they said they already knew he didn't do it but they were only allowed to let him out from 9AM wacko.gif

Am I the only one who thinks it's a littlebit strange to put someone in jail while they already knew he wasn't guilty? Soooo wierd!!! unsure.gif

This is a nice country, just too much rules! Every rules has extra rules added to it because people keep finding mazes in the web ( < Is that English? unsure.gif )

Yes you are right. And I have learned this first hand with all the trouble I had to go through to get a resident's permit. So much paperwork and not even the officials know what exactly to do with it rolleyes.gif

I don't have any experiences with living in another country but over here it is just too difficult I've also thought. And as you said it looks like there are a lot of "easier" countries wink.gif

Rick .............

Sorry about your friend.

Maybe the police have had complaints before and used your friend as a excuse sad.gif to catch somebody.

Sorry to hear 'bout your friend! sad.gif

I have had some experience few weeks ago with the Dutch police, and, they are.... different. Just as anything in this crazy country tongue.gif

I got mugged, right in front of a police station, and there was just no-one opening the door, and when we called the police at home (the non-urgency number), they were mad at US because we didn't call earlier or come to the station, and because we didn't call the emergency number.... Weird guys.....
