 I had a member email me and use the F word...Told me to go F*** myself.
I am hurt and disappointed.
Why do people do that?
hmmm I am baffled..I tried to be nice to this member and had no clue what was up and I get a GO F*** yourself??? Did any other owner get anything like this recently???
Should I remove the offender?
Here was my response:
Hi (name withheld),
How are you doing?
I am not sure why you sent this email, but i would be glad to help you if I
can.
I can see nothing wrong with the email that was sent.
So if you can enlighten me. I would appreciate it.
Have a super day!!

This cussing was sent as a reply to a paid for action email.
I am ready to cry...
Well maybe not cry, but I am certainly not happy...
Any suggestions????
Members you know how it is to be on the other side, should I delete for this or no?
I am at a loss. Was not raised this way...
Christy
Okay, you went about it the right way with your reply to it. Wait and see what their next responce is, if the member chooses to reply again in the same way then you send a public warning, one to all members that you have been receiving rather abusive emails from one member and that this is their final warning, basically saying if you receive an abusive email again from that member, who knows who he is, then he will be removed from the site and will loose all earnings. Dont say who the member is or anything, if you then get an abusive email from them then remove them. Two things to check when you do if receive that final email, a) It is that person sending it and not someone that is using a fake email, b ) thier IP matches their signup IP. You might accidently delete a member that is being framed, the reply to it might indicate if it is them or not.
Keep the emails they send, if they are using a free email service and they send the three emails that are abusive, then contact the abuse@ email addresses for those email services, include the headers and message body when you report them. If they use an ISP based service, you might need to run it through spamcop to find out who to contact in reguards to it. Even if they are using a free service you can do this since 99% of the ISP's have a policy that no abusive emails shall be sent using their service, and that's whether you are using them to send email or someone else.
