You want to know what really pisses me off? You pay money for a program to upgrade to get the blind referrals and get one if you are lucky. Or you pay a webmaster for a downline on an auction and get made up downlines. Do they really think we are stupid? Thats just crappy.

Many people pay money to upgrade not only for receiving referals I think.
There are many benefits such as free advetising, discount on advertising,
etc.

I for one have auctioned off referrals and downlines at my sites....and have checked each downline or referral BEFORE placing the auction to see if it a good, active, with legit info account

There have been No unsatisifed people who have bought downlines or referrals threw auctions threw me...I have gooten many thank you letters.

I upgrade mostly for the advertising. Any blind referrals I receive are an added bonus to me. I only upgrade in esteblished sites or if the site is being operated by an established webmaster and I've had secent results getting referrals from gold

What do you mean by made up downlines?

He/she probably means fake ones, where the WM just randomly added x number of people into the user data base who are in fact inactive and not real people at all, and then sold the referals to a person. I've honestly never heard a WM doing this before, but it wouldn't supprise me if it would happen. Seems like a great way to make some quick cash before you close shop.
