Has anyone ever seen a virus that causes a bat (the small winged mammal) to appear on the page? I'm laughing because as soon as it appeared, McAfee got rid of it, but I was viewing websites and all of a sudden there was this bat flying around. laugh.gif
And yes, I'm scanning all my files now.
(can't remember the name of the trojan deleted, sorry)

eta: I know the bat and the trojan were connected, because the bat and the trojan deletion warning appeared absolutely simultaneously.

biggrin.gif that may not be a virus, but a little script biggrin.gif

ouh, if you got antivirus warnning, most probably that was the virus. But there are only few ways that trojan can get into your PC through browser... try clearing the cache of the browser, that helps most of the times dirol.gif

hate all those virus makers thumbdown.gif it's not a cool thing

Extreemly discreet for a virus
Some people have programs they put on your pc just for laughs, i remember one that removed all my icons on even days (the 9th had icons, the 10th no icons, the 11th icons etc...)
I also got one that moved my mouse away from the start button, each time you went close, your mouse *magicly* moved back.

Anti-Virus programs normally find them, even if they are not *nasty*

Next time, check what name your AV program gives it, and google the name biggrin.gif
