I bought myself a new harddisk because the other had a problem in windows so I put that one a slave and the new one as master. Then I tried to install windows but halfway there was an error and now it doesn't work anymore. So I can't enter windows but is there a way to format the new HD without being in Windows? I can't find a MS-Dos thing where you can enter "format c:" (or "d:" in this case) Is there a way to do this?
Thanks for your help...

yes there's a way to format using MS-DOS.
actually that is the only way i know

1> Make a booting disk
2> Config the BIOS feature when you restart the puter
(by clicking F8 or Delete key continuously)
and change the "First device boot", so that A drive(floppy disk) comes first
3> Save&Exit. Restart the puter, put the booting disk.
4> If it loads as
A:> in the DOS,
enter
format c:5> After that, config the BIOS once again
so that your CD Rom(D or E drive) comes first.
6> Restart the puter and Put Windows CD.
7> Install~
well, that's how i've been doing so far.
not sure if there's any easier way

hope you got what i'm saying btw
