If money was no object, and you could buy or build the house of your dreams....
Describe it:
I would have a beautiful 4-5 bedroom home with a bonus room for a playroom. At least 3 bathrooms. A gigantic family room with a gas log fireplace (allergic to real wood fires). Huge kitchen with a double oven and an island in the middle. BIG bay window in the family room (facing the front) for the Christmas tree. Oversize 2 car garage, and a workshop in the backyard for DH. A safe room built under the house in case of tornados with entry from a closet floor (saw that on a website - keeps you from having to go out into the storm to get into the shelter. Big utility room - big enough to sort, fold, and hang all the laundry, with a mud sink. (Just have a utility room about the size of an overgrown closet right now).
Very big yard, privacy fenced. Swimming pool (Enclosed and heated). Level or slightly sloped yard (for water runoff) an nicely landscaped, but not stuck-up looking. Big swingset for the kids with all the neatest stuff. Big driveway so the kids could skate and play basketball.

Its funny ever since I was a kid I would always try to imagine what my ideal house would look like. The trouble is I would have a really hard time seeing the house. I could see the barn NO problem and the pastures etc but no house..lol I am not really a house person I guss my land/yard and barn are more important to me. Strange I know but honestly I cant see my house other then its in the middle of nowhere with NO neighbors for miles and has a HUGE barn and lots of fenced in pastureland

Ranch style, log or cedar shakes exterior (one story of course). 4 large bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Solarium. Cobblestone patio. Large, enclosed backyard with lots of trees, a rock wall, a brook and perrenials. Galley style kitchen with restaurant appliances. Large front yard hedged for privacy, landscaped but not overdone, maybe a small fountain. Big livingroom with a gas fireplace and a den/office/library with a gas fireplace. Plus an entertainment room for the kids. A two car garage and an out building for storage etc.

When I was little I used to design houses. Started with blocks, moved to Lincoln Logs, crayons & paper and finally actual sketches... Maybe it's hereditary, my grandmother designed her own house (and honestly I think it's about perfect!)
I'd want a country/ranch/log cabin style but with a big country porch that's covered. Most likely have siding on the outside of the house just because it's easier but I'd get the really nice stuff that doesn't look like siding. Shuttered windows. 1 story.
5 large bedrooms all with walk-in closets, master has double wide walk-in closet. All bedrooms are in the back of the house. 3 bathrooms, 2 with standard tub & shower. All showers have 2 adjustable height shower heads and you can choose to have both or just one shower head on at a time. Master bath has a nice big deep tub and a full sized shower with sliding doors, shower has a seat in it so I don't fall over while shaving my legs. All bathrooms have a window.
Large living room with built in storage for hiding toys. Playroom for when the kids get older and decide that we're not cool enough to hang out with. Office/library with only entrance being from the master bedroom.
U shaped kitchen with gas appliances. Double ovens, range with 4 burners and grill. Sink has disposal and sprayer-extension faucet.
Large 2 car garage. Enough room for 2 cars + storing stuff.
Bermuda grass yard, gently sloped for drainage. Hibiscus and jasmine framing the door. 2-3 trees in front and backyards each, good and strong for hanging a swing on. Playground with swing, slide, etc... Strong wood fence, 6 ft, properly weather treated - matches porch/deck. Back porch/deck is screened and large enough for BBQ grill, chairs, table and misc toys.

Ok well if you people are familiar with the movie Blade 2 I would take that house but mainly because they have like tons of security.

A small house, nothing special I think it's difficult to describe but when I take my own house without all the negative parts and the surrounding could be better (without tram) but I'm happy right now

My dream house, except the fence I would have a rock wall fence that matches the house.

Very pretty, Lia.
Close to what I love, if only a few more bay windows.

Any house that doesn't include a teenager around every corner rolling their (HER) eyes at me as if my brains have just fallen out of my head.
