Grrrrrr. I am so sick of Compdough. I finally deleted my account today, after more than a year with them. For almost a year, I watched my account $ and referrals steadily (though slowly) rise. I'm fine with the slowness, as long as it's steady. Well, a few months ago, I lost about $7 from my account (payout is $20, so $7 is a lot). I wrote them and they told me some referrals must have unsubscribed or may have been deleted if they had duplicate accounts or accounts in an incorrect country. Fine. I was angry. It was quite a few referrals, but they have to do their job. I didn't think twice - until TODAY. I worked hard to get my account back up the last few months .. to more than $17 (in pay-to-clicks, that's not bad for a few months). Almost payout. Today, I logged in and my account is down to only $7. $10 was GONE. I know if I write them, they'll give me a song and dance about referrals leaving, or being deleted.

But this losing of chunks of money never happened before, until a few monthsago when I started to get close to payout, and again now when I got my account back up there.

I'd love to hear of anyone who's been paid, or not paid, or who's losing such large chunks of $ when they've gotten close to payout.

Be careful of Compdough anyway.

I just joined that one. I'll be curious to know what the WM says about your lost money.

I love Compdough - I've gotten paid twice from them (most recently this past December), with no problems at all, and find I can reach the $10 egold payout within several months, with NO referrals at all. Again, I agree with you - slow is fine as long as it's reliable and it does grow.

The important thing to note here is that they ARE a CAC site - which means that if you've gotten any referral earnings, as soon as those referrals drop out/unsub, you will lose any accrued earnings from them. It's the nature of the scripts running the site. So, if you're concerned about lost earnings, can you remember if those are direct earnings by YOU and your clicking, or if they were downline/referral earnings? If referrals dropped out, there's nothing to be done about it. If your own personal earnings dropped, then you should write to them - I've always found them to be responsive and helpful.

I know that the piece with the referral earnings disappearing is frustrating - it's happened to me on many CAC sites - I just look at it as the risk I take by knowingly using sites that run that script - my referral earnings aren't really mine until I cash out...

Hope this helps - good luck!

So I don't like CAC sites am.gif
There is no reason to promote them because the system will take away my referral earnings later

but there are some honest companies that credit lost earnings aa.gif

some months ago they suddenly sisn't except many countries anymore.
I got my accout deleted, but wrote to the owner and got it back and I was payed a little later.
I'm not really sure what to think about them. The pay good (over $10 in own earnings) aa.gif but the ref-system, with all the lost earnings is not good (I have lots of new ref so I will probably loose alot soon)

I have finally requested payment over a month ago, and I can't get them to respond to my e-mails, nor have I been paid yet. I'm getting very upset about this. ao.gif
