I got mail this morning that was supposedly from a friend of mine. It contained a tool which the sender said was "A good tool"


There was two things wrong with the mail. My friend had not sent me any mail and 2 the sender could not spell. Just did not sound like my friend. When I called him I found out he knew nothing about it.

He asked me to send him the mail to examine it, cause fortunately for me he takes care of things like that online. His secure server dumped it telling him it was a virus.



Just letting you know folks. It is not even safe when the mail appears to come from someone you know.

I receive many emails like your emails every day. And delete them without thinking because my friends have never sent program to me in attachment.

the difference is that he is accustomed to sending me attachments every once in a while. this one just looked really suspicious.
