hi everyone,

i am new here and i have some questions...

i have a online game server, and also a site smile.gif . The site has 1000-1600 impresions (incresing) per day and would like to make money out of that. I used google adsense which was very good but they deactivated my account, saying that i was generating false clicks with scipts and so on,which i didnt do.

Well i was thinking of making minimum 200 $ per month, thats only the server costs. How could i do that? What would you guys recomand me to use?

I thought about pop-ups or popdowns, they are paid by germans like 4-10 ? per 1000 pop-ups/popdonws. But the problem is that the page is in english and they dont accept it.

If i put on the page clicksor ads, the users will click them but i am afraid that they will also close the account, same as google did.

Other thing i wanted to knows: is google ads only paying the clicks or do they pay by siteimpresions?

Any suggestions are welcome

Thanx in advance

I am curious. Are you saying that you pay 200 per month for your hosting? That seems very high.

When you ask about Google Ads are you meaning from an advertisers position? If so you are charged only when you get clicks on your ads (the ones that you place with google). If you mean AdSense, they pay for clicks and not impressions.

Another program similar to Googles Adsense that I have seen on a few PTRs is called bidvertiser. If you need a link let me know and I will look it up or maybe you can find it in a search. They pay by paypal

No, i pay 200 $ per month for the dedicated server...not the hosting.

yes, i was asking about google adsense.

Uhm i dont know if that would be good (bidvertiser) because my users would click them but that would be it, they will not buy anything or so. And thats why i think google closed my account.

Your best bet would be joining some of the bigger affiliate sites, and then you can target what you are showing on your site, as they normally have to approve you for each program, you shouldn't have a problem having your account closed.

Depending on your country depends on which ones you should join.

US/Canada then commision junction is the best one
UK then affiliatewindow, paidonresults or tradedoubler uk
Europe then tradedoubler is the best

Googles AdSense program doesnt care (and most of the times doesnt know) whether or not the person who clicked on the google ad complets and offer or buys anything.

Here is how it works - Lets say I am paying for pay-per-click ads through google (which I am actually). Ok I have a $1.00 bid on a certain keyword. Whenever someone clicks my ad I am charged 1.00 by Google. That is regardless of whether or not the clicker takes any other action. I think Google gives the AdSense member 60% of whatever the keyword bid was. So I pay $1.00 - Google makes 40 cents and the AdSense member who had my ad on their site gets 60 cents.

Google has two different things

AdWords - that is for people who want to advertise in sponsored search results and content ads on web sites.

AdSense - this is for webmasters who want to be paid for ahving google ads and search function on their site.

A similar company is bidvertiser, I see their ads and banners on a lot of PTR sites.

I agree with Shadow_x. Affiliate marketing is a great way to develop a good income. Most every major company has an affiliate program. WalMart, Target, Amazon, eBay, AOL, American Express, Discover, NetZero, Earthlink, and literally thousands more companies will pay you for promoting their products and services online. Some pay per click, many pay per lead, most pay per sale.

The idea is to choose affiliate deal with products and services that fit in with your website content. And of course you can also promote most of these through pay-per-click advertising.

Thank you for your suggestions but thats what i allready knew sad.gif .
If i would make some affiliate links on the page, the users would click them but they wont buy nothing because they only want to support the server...nothing else and i cant tell them to buy something. Most of the users are from poland, UK etc...

I could also use some affiliate links (pay per click) but then if i do this, the affiliate company is going to wonder why there are so many clicks and no one is buying something or registering for a newsletter or so...and i think they would deactivate my account just like google did.

I thought maybe there is something that pays me to just to put a banner on my site. I once saw something like that but i guess with that i have no chance to earn 200 $ per month.

I also thought pop-ups or pop-downs would be great...do you guys know a good site that pays around 4-12 $ per 1000 pop-ups/pop-downs? But a english one...cuz like i said the germans only accept sites in german language.

Thx

PS: i could also give you guys the link to my site if u are interested, maybe then if you see it you could tell me a more suitable way to earn money through my page. Let me know if you need the link. Thx again

Many of the affiliate sites allow you to put a link under the banner saying please support our sponsors, or something along that line, what you can't do is force people to click them.

If lots of your visitors are from the UK then affiliatewindow or paidonresults have given me great results, and they do allow you to place your banner above or below text saying please support our sponsors, or please visit our advertisers.

If you are careful on which programs you apply to and if you place banners for programs that its free to join, you will actually find people join the site by clicking the banner.

A good example of one thats done well for me is the online betting guide from paidonresults, its free for the person to join it, you also get paid when someone joins it.

Many sites pay for banner impressions but they restrict what kind of sites can join.

If you want to pm me the link I will quite happily have a quick look at it.

If you still want to be paid for banner impressions, pop-ups, pop-unders, pop-ins etc. you could try PayPopUp.com. They have all those options. Their rates are probably not as high as you want, but they do pay the most for UK traffic.

i use a few affiliates that pay by sale...normally around 40 percent of the sale....good revenue!

I dont know why google cancelled your account but they do not cancel accounts because people click but do not buy. That is not how it works and that is what I tried to explain earlier.

Yes, thats right..

The reason why i think google banned your account is that your friends are u said were trying to help you..

Google records IPs and your friends must have clicked on ads everyday..

So google must have smelled foul play as some IPs are regularly clicking the ads including your IP..

I was banned in a similar fashion and i think the reason is this..

So just make sure that people dont click your ads again and again

Yep Affilate Programs would be your best bet, also try sending google adsense an email saying what happened and apologise, they could unban you.
