Ok, a while back at att-traffic.com, someone bought 50 paid signups. It says right on the purchase page that we cannot guarantee any signups if it site costs money to join - only if it is free. Yet she still went ahead and bought 50 paid signups for a site that costs to join - which immediately broke our guarantee of signups.

I recently converted the paid-to-join program from att-traffic.com to traffic-taxi.com. She is now threatenning me to either send you in instant refund or she is going to complain that im a fraud. What should i do? I am in debt as it is, and i cant very well afford giving her money back just because she cannot read.

So even though i dont have the extra funds to refund her, AND it says at att-traffic.com that we do not refund, i still emailed her telling her that she would receive her refund withint the next 2 weeks. She still says she wants it IMMEDIATELY or else im a fraud...

I dont understand how dense people are. At any little disconfiguration that they dont see fit themselves perfectly, they start yelling scam or fraud! I bet half of them dont even know the definition of the words...

What should i do? Is she in the right here (because "customers are always right") even though she isn't? If she does complain to paypal will i have to worry about my account freezing? or do they not handle non-physical goods?

Id appreciate any thoughts you have...

why didn't you give her money back straight away when you realised she was trying to get signups to a program that was "pay to join" ?

it really shouldn't have gone this far..

I'm sorry I know she didn't read the rules so that is her problem but you could have saved yourself this grief by dealing with it earlier

+ she is within her rights to get paypal to reverse the funds she sent to you which would possibly put you in the negitive..

I wish i would have... But i have many many responsibilities running these sites. I NEVER have any free time. Im not making any profit.. in fact my net income is minus.. thats right, im paying my own money to keep these sites going. Of all my responcibilities, one of them is not to make sure a dense customer can read. I do not go through all the paid signups, the system is all automatic so it doesn't add to my list of things to do.

I need to find a way into better profits with these sites. I see all these other sites that make hundreds of dollars a day... I cant even brake even... ar.gif

if you aren't breaking even then shut the sites down.. you obviously aren't enjoying it anyway (or at least thats what your attitude here portrays)

ask any webmaster/mistress you are always going to get people who don't follow the rules.. in this case as I've stated you could have saved yourself alot of trouble by refunding straight away.. but you say you were to busy.. so maybe you need to reset your priorities?

I don't mean to sound horrible but things like this are going to happen and if you can't afford to run all the sites then whats the point?

BTW - If it makes you feel any better not many webmasters/mistress's at all are making alot of money.. its just pocket change and the ones who are making heaps of money have a HUGE payout requirement which heaps of people never meet meaning they get to pocket it all aa.gif

(the honest ones of course wouldn't do that..)

WHICH sites make hundreds a day?
I don't think there is ANY ptr making that much; most are approximately breaking even, (give or take a few dollars), and most paid-to type sites that are making any money are sites like mlms, egold games, etc.
Those kind make a lot of money at first and then die out.

I actually do enjoy it, i used to make quite good profit when i first started. Its just when these things start to happen all at once, i get really frusterated. Im sorry if i come off with a poor attitude when talking of these issues...

I wont shut down the sites for 3 reasons:
1)I beleive that any webmaster/mistress that opens a site such as mine, they have a responsibility to their members.
2)I dont want to ruin my name on the internet. If i shut down any of my sites, people would instantly yell scam, and it would quickly get around that i am a scam (again, people using that word not even knowing what it means)... ar.gif
3)I put a lot of effort into my sites, i wouldn't have anything to brag about if i shut them down... ab.gif
