My name is Lisa,
I am A PTC Site Owner...And I Am Warning All Webmasters And Webmistress To Beware Of This trouble Maker...........He Is From India Or Something Like that...anyone with any common sence knows you do not email the WM for a payout................He refuses to go to the redemption page and do it from there...i tryed to send the payout anyway but turns out his stormpay is suspended or not there.

Also claimes i do not have points to cash i told him that redemtions do not show unless you have enough points/cash to redeem.........He has emailed me calling me a lier and i am not paying him.....................WELL DUH!!! if you don't go to the redemption page and fill it out from there how am i to pay you..............
PLEASE YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A ROCKETT SCIENCE TO FIGURE THAT OUT!!!!!!!

Also My TOS says I have 30 days to pay.....i pay all my members not only from our own pocket but from Auction & Advertising Sales....

He Also Claimes Because I Live In The USA He Thinks I'm RICH....He Said This In Emails He Sent To Me.

Hi,

Perhaps this member is new to ptr or new to the internet? Perhaps they are not very good at reading in the English language? Perhaps he didn't read or didn't understand your terms or rules?

He shouldn't have called you a liar. He shouldn't have sent you rude emails, you should delete him for trying to abuse the webmaster, abused the rules and abuse the site by requesting payout before it was due. This member is the one that needs to be deleted, not his whole country. Perhaps he couldn't read English and he or she should NOT be paid as they abused the webmaster. We can't ban a whole country for what one member does. We wouldn't have many members left.

Sorry you had a tough time with this person. Hope your day improves.

I agree with what "positive" advised you.

Furthermore, if you have kept some kind of log about your attempt to pay him i don't see why you are afraid of being accused on not paying him/her.

The upshot is that it is, to say the least, bizzare that you decided to ban a whole country.

After all, this user seems to be a pest (or just an extreme example of a newbie) but not a cheater.

You could also say from now on on your sites that members from India may only use ads money for ads redemptions not payouts, if you wanted to. I've seen that a lot for some reason some people seem to think everyone in the poor country of India can't read, can't spell, and can't be honest.

You could also put in your forum or in your emails a question to the members and ask your members what THEY think about this issue, without mentioning the person's name that called you a bad name. What the person did I think the term is webmaster abuse, and it does happen quite a bit I have heard. You just have to learn to not let it bother you. You seem like a nice, caring person, and I can tell you are taking this hard. I know once I mentioned a similar experience to someone about a member, and they told me the best thing to do is simply to ignore them and not even answer them nor email them. Well of course I couldn't do that either, I'd email them and try to get them to understand what I thought of whatever the issue was and to reach some sort of an agreement.

I would check for combination of this name in your database. I had one guy with 30 accounts who were all under one person from the same country with a similar name as the username you are stating his name is. Not to say it is the same person but sure looks like it.

On banning the country this is not fair as there are many honest members from India and because of one persons actions a country should not be banned. I see way to much of this and program owners trying to justify it now. Block him and ban him. If it is a problem with being new pay him and then get rid of him.

But I would check through the database as I bet you find multiple accounts that have the first part or last part of that username.

I would be banning most countries if it were for that as I have problems with members from all countries including US and Canada .. So not sure that justifies banning a country.

I figureed cashdiner was mad which is why her typing was irratic. Do I ever know. I agree, you cant' ban the hole country for the acts of a few. However I appreciate the fact tath cashdiner was willign to take Tina's advice and change so India waws not entirely banned jsut becasue of a small few.

I can understand Cashdienrs anger adn frustration. I also wnated to note that Yes, India (someone said this in this thread) is looked on by many in surroundign countries as loley. I have actually heard some refer to people in India as cheaters, not one but all. Looks like somehwo India has a bad rap amongst certain cultures.

Thanks for allowing India back in even if they can only use the site to redeem for ads that is better.

You do need to learn to spell a bit better, however, as some people from other countries at least may have a hard time comprehending what you are trying to say when the words are not spelled correctly.

I know it hurts when people call people bad names. I know it hurts when we get rude emails, believe me though this person could have called you a lot worse names than a liar and saying that you are rich because you are from the USA.
Once someone from one of my former traffic exchanges emailed me asking to be removed, and they were not nice at all. Their words were something like this,
Remove me from this nightmare. Well we weren't offended at all, actually years later we still laugh about that email. I mean we try so hard, we do our best, and then someone doesn't appreciate us and writes and says awful things about our site!! It is hard to take yes, but just find some humor in it and you'll be better off.
Lisa, you KNOW you are not a liar. You KNOW you are a good person. So do not let it bother you, that a person from another country that doesn't know you at all and never talked to you, calls you a bad word. That is simply verbal abuse.
I am real glad to hear you have deleted that member!

I understand you being upset with him believe me I have times I throw my hands in the air but it is not fair to ban a whole country because one or two take advantage or cheat or treat you badly. I sure know there are times I have had my feelings hurt but I have to consider the source and move on.

I was so upset with the guy who had 30 accounts I accidently blocked my honest members as I had gone through and blocked every dang ip the guy had lol but I did not want to hurt my honest members. Many are very good to me it was an accident. So I do understand how you feel cause on two occassions I have accidently blocked members when trying to get rid of one person.

Someone once from CALIFORNIA had like three or four accounts on one of my sites. I removed ALL of their accounts. They later joined yet again. I again removed/deleted ALL of their member accounts. I could have I guess banned California or banned the USA, but that would have been not so smart on my part. I have some members that click on cheat links or bad categories, maybe I should ban the whole country? No.

In any case, I am glad that you have vented here and got to scream a bit even though it was hard for you to do. I am glad you now have allowed India in, as too many people have been judgmental against the whole country of India and I have no idea why.

Just simply remember that you are NOT alone in this. Many webmasters get hate mail I have heard. Some it troubles them and some it does not. Perhaps you are taking this far too personal and that's hard for me to say not to do. You will be able to recover from this in time believe me. Unfortunately, it probably won't be the last rude email you get from some member that doesn't appreciate all that you do.

Thanks for the laugh! So many just don't get it. When you are reading or responding to a person you need to read and write ENGLISH since many people that do PTR or forums (unless it's in a different language folder) speak and read english.
That is a requirment on many sites

Kinda cheap taking such a personal stab here when that person isnt here to defend him/herself.

Its obvious that someone flies off the handle here and makes spur of the moment decisions which are taken back soon after, has the thought process come to mind?

Your relations with this person have no bearing on anyone else, effective communication is needed, and if you cant communicate with another culture then you shouldnt have that country involved with your site at all.

Geez what a spanking, after all that if I were from India youd have too pay me well to put up with all youve put them people through, and Im sure it isnt over yet, dont hold your breath India, as soon as another one of your people mess up, you are all out!
