well .. it is real .. but it's a client side banner rotator. It means that the rotator script is executed on the visitors browser, not your server .. and in this case you can't do any tracking.
So the solution is to search for some kind of server side banner rotator script and then you'll be able to do the tracking. In this way - there's no chance to do that.

I have a very nice php/mysql banner rotator that I give to anyone who asks. It has an admin area and a place for advertisers to check their stats.
