I recently signed up for Uniqpaid through shareasale.com and began promoting their links . In just a few days I had generated 10 leads . 2 of these leads were disqualified after just a few days . Something I wasn't happy about , but could live with . But now weeks later , they have disqualified all 10 leads .

After generating these leads , Uniqpaid changed their earning TOS from $2.00 a lead to $1.00 a lead to be paid after the new member had earnings of such and such by such and such date . I understand that's their right and I can live with that , but I can not live with changing horses in mid-stream . They have to honor the agreement made for the leads generated before this change . Leads were generated from 1/26 - 1/29 . They informed me of their change in earning TOS on the 30th , which is after the original contract was made . I am posting a copy of the email I received from UniqPaid .

They've changed their "contract" after these lead were made ( not before ) and after our deal was struck , which is illegal ! We had a meeting of the minds , an offer , consideration and an acceptance . They can not then change the terms of our agreement for the leads made before their offer changed . Very Uniq way of getting out of paying . I gained these leads before the change in earning terms .

I have complained to shareasale via e-mail and their support forum , but my plight seems to have fallen on deaf ears , as has other complaints made by other UniqPaid affiliates .

You can read more about that here .

http://abw.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=5486...89&m=4106099922

Lastly , I will be sending this update to all RD memebers as a warning and a call to boycott .

I sent out a paid mail for a program called Uniqpaid . This program looked really good and the pay rate for leads very profitable . 10 ppl. joined from the e-mail I send or from banners placed on RD . I now encourage all you members who joined Uniqpaid to go and unsubscribe .

Each and every one of the 10 leads I made has been denied by Uniqpaid , meaning Uniqpaid will not pay me . If they are not going to pay me , it is very likely that after you have done all the work to make some money , you will not be paid either .

After complaining to shareasale about this program , I discovered that other affiliates of Uniqpaid have had the same exact trouble . One affiliate was denied 114 leads , each and every lead denied . If Uniqpaid is on the up and up , I believe it would be impossible that this affiliate were denied all 114 leads .

I am starting a campaign of sorts to get the word out about Uniqpaid as they seem to have found a very " Uniq " way to NOT pay their affiliates . Please look for updates and other complaints at the www.gptboycott.com forum . If you've already experienced troubles with Uniqpaid , please add your comments so others incentive earners and program managers might avoid yet another merchant with questionable payment practices .

well after reading that i'm more than a little shocked ! ar.gif

I have never had a problem with them at all, in fact, quite the opposite.

I contact them quite a lot & they always reply within an hour or so (but maybe thats cos i struck a rather gud deal with them ! )

They have always paid me & i have over 400 sign-ups (including a few who have earned the $5 needed to entitle me to the referral bonus).

Keep me posted if you here anything else from them

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul ,

I'm glad that you got paid .

I have written to shareasale and sent Uniqpaid a cabon copy . I've also posted in shareasales' support folder at abestweb , but have not as yet been given courtesy of a reply . That was some days ago . All before making the complaint public .

I thought that would be the correct way to approach the problem . Sort of a chain of command thing , before screaming scam to the gpt world . I'm guessing I wasn't taken very seriously .

Thanks for you comments .

(including a few who have earned the $5 needed to entitle me to the referral bonus).

Is there a referral bonus with their shareasale affiliate program. I have about 120+ leads and all I can see is "voided" messages. None of them approved. During the first 15 days thay were okey but than all of them gone. am.gif
royalexile
i didn't join so i'm not sure about shareasale's policies, i joined UniqPaid direct

i do know though, that it's UniqPaid who give the referral bonus of $1 when a referral has earned $5
tornado
After posting a complaint to shareasale's forum I thought that they will read and stop these "voids" but no way! Thay have cancelled my last 7 leads as well. CashRoyal, do not signup to their program because it takes about 15 days or more for the leads to be cancelled and during this period you continue to work for them. ah.gif

Just some lgal stuff coming from the all knowlageable frosh!

Thats Ex Post Facto, which is what they did and that is illegal, and since they are using an american based TLD (.com) they are under the USA's juristiction, and have to hollow its rules.

Heres info on Ex Post Facto. It means you can not punish or affect someone for doing something BEFORE it was stated. (Hard to explain in words). Take this example:
Some people are walking around town in bikins, and someone complains to town hall, a law gets passe that peopel cannot walk about town in a bikini. The girls stop when the law is made, They, under NO circumstance, cannot be charged with breaking that law, because they 'broke' it before it was made.

Heres the latin:
Ex, e: exit, exit from
Post -ae: after, afterwards
Facto, factum: deed

So roughly that means that people are exempt from a law after the law has been passes if they did the 'crime' before it was passed.

Am I making any sence?

So, back to the subject. They have to abide by their own rules and award you with the $2 per lead, or you can take them into small claims court.

tornado, i've been with them for a lot longer than 15 days, trust me !!

like i've already said, they've paid me many times !

as for taking them to court, if we did that everytime something like that happened, well, we'd never b out of court would we?

I have no intention of taking them to court , but in all honesty plan to cause they $20 aggravation , which is what I believe is due to me .

However , I would think a few times in court might be a deterrent and these things would happen less and less , so no . I don't think we would always be in court .

Yes , Spartaman I do understand . They have to abide by the "terms" in place at time I excepted/wore the swim suit and I can not be penalized for a change that came after there was no swim suit problem .
uniqpaid
Hi!

I'm a manager of UniqPaid.com

Our old Agreement (before changing):

"We pay $2 per new user who signs up, confirms their e-mail, and earns 5$ or more dollars within 15 days after registration."

The present Agreement:

"We pay $1 per new user who signs up, confirms their e-mail, and earns 1$ or more dollars within 15 days after registration."

It means, if your new user NOT earned 1$ dollar within 15 days, we will void this transaction.

We carefully check all transactions and do all by the rules.
We always correctly pay to our members and partners!

Thanks.

Hello Uniqpaid ,

I'm very glad to hear from you .

I don't remember a thing about any $5 having to be earned . Since I didn't get a confirmation , I have no way to go back and check . Never the less , it's hard for me to believe that no one earned even a dollar . Nor is there anyway for me to personally check this . I only have your word to go on and well , since I waited a good while before posting this here -- without hearing from you or SaS , you can imagine at this point what your word means to me .

You reap all the bennies and the affiliate gets nothing .

Thanks for your time ,
