i have a question about e-gold

the "rates" thingy is getting my quite confused

is it true that, your money gets higher in value sometimes, and lower sometimes? if the rates drop tremendously, does that mean you've lost alot of money in your account?

ok, let me restate the question,

which one has the lowest amount before sending out a check?
markcls
it really depends on the PTwhatever site itself

sometimes they have lower payouts for paypal, and vice versa
personally, i'd open both accounts
and i'd choose to receive the fastest payout into my account

that is, IF that's the question you're asking =)

I think e-gold is better for international members.
Paypal sometime froze you account without any comments.

no you will not loose all your money!

infact in e-gold you dont have money in your account.. you have grams of golds... and the money shown in front of it is the amount = to the amount of gold you have.. so gold price may go down or rise, you are never loosing or gaining any gold , the amount of gold remain same in e-gold , but the value of that gold increases or decreases aa.gif

But it's to be said that e-gold isn't safe enough!
And many of my friends said their e-gold passphrase had been stolen easily by cheaters.

i m gr8: right, thanks for answering my question. now i geddit!
but doesn't that mean, if i get paid $0.50 in my e-gold account, and the rates drop... i only have... let's say... $0.30 in my account? and i'd have to wait till the rates go up again?

i don't use paypal, it's not supported in my country =(

i'm currently using stormpay

i personally like PayPal better because i just add my bank account and i can withdraw all my funds ab.gif

BUT e-gold is good too.

Yes thats kinda right markcls.... but for you to lose that much the price of gold would have to almost HALF! lol that would be unheard of. gold is tumbling now badly, but even that is only a 12% drop or so (so your 50 cents would be 44 cents) but than again - it might go up!! your 50 cents might be 60 cents or something!!!

thats the gamble you take with egold

egold is no less secure than any other system that uses a passphrase. If your take care the same as you do any other password its fine.

Some tips - don't tell anyone your passphrase, and make sure its not a word or something easy to guess, make it a combination of letters and numbers. Don't login from ANY email - egold will never ask for your passphrase via email. Don't beleive any of the scam emails that seem to come from egold - they dopn't pay interest, never will, they don't do 'spend confirmations' - never will - just ignore all those emails. Always login to egold from your bookmarked secure site, and check the url in the top of your browser when making a spend https://e-gold.com. Make sure you got antivirus scanner. Don't spend to suspicious looking sites, hyips.

Its all basic stuff, and people who get their egold account hacked have broken one of these rules.

depending on where you are, moneybookers.com offers an easy way to cashout money from egold, for quite a low fee. go check them out.
