I think search links should be allowed. What is your reasoning for banning them?

GPF used to have a search exchange, but it was closed due to all the bad traffic going to the SE's. With a mutli-national forum, such as GPF, it is a bad idea. Say I want to promote a SE that only accepts traffic from certain countries. And alot of people from countries it doesn't accept are clicking and searching. Well, that sends bad feed back, and the sites that are paying good bid money are losing out because of all the false traffic. Make sense?
