i would like to find out how to copywright website names. i have a million ideas for creative websites but don't know how to do it.

Names are not subject to copyright. They must be trademarked and you must apply to the U.S. Patent Office. You have to prove that you are using the name in actual commerce, and that by not having the trademark, your commerce abilities will be infringed upon.
Each trademark requires a search, application and invocation. Plan on spending anywhere from $100 to $1000 per name.

oh well scratch that idea lol. boy the companies that sell the names for websites must be rich then.

Are you talking about domains? If its domains you talking about register them for $8/y, when someone needs that domain you say $200 plz thank u... hehe

yeah that's like what i am getting at. somewhere there is a thread where we were talking about wacky website names. i came up with :
runnynoseemails.com where the money just drips into your account
