i would like to find out how to copywright website names. i have a million ideas for creative websites but don't know how to do it.

Names are not subject to copyright. They must be trademarked and you must apply to the U.S. Patent Office. You have to prove that you are using the name in actual commerce, and that by not having the trademark, your commerce abilities will be infringed upon.

Each trademark requires a search, application and invocation. Plan on spending anywhere from $100 to $1000 per name.
