I'm getting pretty browned off with this now

I'm a platinum member, my main reason I went plat, was so I could send out the paid emails, I've been to the site everyday for about 2 weeks now and it tells me the paidemail ordering is suspended due to high volume of mail.

1) Then how come others are sending out emails?

2) How come the person who includes this little graphic (see below) in their emails sends one out EVERY day/night?

Has anyone else noticed this person (who adds this little pic) sends out emails every single day?

So why can't I?

Waste a time contacting webmaster, as they never reply, but I'm getting VERY pi$$ed at this

I wouldn't mind betting its either the webmaster himself sending it (although last time I asked Len, he claimed he doesn't use the site for his own advertising) or a friend of his!!!

I too upgraded to plat just for the e-mails, and I'm also very annoyed... for the last 2 weeks, I haven't been able to get one out...

I'm kicking myself for upgrading now, especially with TPL's state of affairs... If Len "recovers" and fixes the site dynamics soon, then I'll be made happy again, until then, bah

Everyday I get those...

I sent an email out yesterday, around 3-5 minutes after the day reset. So around 12:04 AM EST or something. Lucky me!

Have someone been paid from tasias in a reasonable period (a month or less)?... I'm thinking to quit, every1 is telling me they don't pay or make you wait for months in order to get paid, NOT NICE!.

no, it looks normal, it's just the spaces are gone from it, so it doesn't look right. i'd find a copy online, but i have no idea what to search for. maybe "ASCII art"

Sorry to put an end to the speculation, but I can say with 100% confidence that this Tasias email is not connected in any way to the webmaster of Tasias. Why? It's actually mine and I'm pretty sure I'm not Len. Following the link in the email places you on one of the featured search pages of my website (presently rotated between three different search engines). The name of the website is clearly mentioned on every page, and minus the space between charmed and life, is the registered domain name also. If you're really interested in knowing who owns this site and sends the email in question, just run a WhoIs check of the domain name associated with this site, it's not blocked (I'm not really certain why someone didn't pull the domain name and check it before starting this speculation in the first place). For those not members of Tasias and have not seen the Make a Search Plz MrD emails which is questioned here, just hop over to my website semi-charmedlife.com for the 3-6 search pages I send emails on (and I'm not above asking for a supporting search while you're there and be sure check out the free wallpaper - Depoe Bay, OR this week).

As to how I've managed to pull so many emails recently (which seems to be more questioned than the email itself), well, luck and the complete lack of a life really helps (so one can spend way too much time in front of a computer if necessary). This combo has enabled me to have only missed an email on the 5th this month. I usually start checking just after midnight EST and continue to check once or twice every waking hour until I find the email link open or it turns into tomorrow (which just means I start all over). It definitely seems that the window to purchase emails has shrunk and is appearing randomly during the day (though I have gotten 4 in the past 9 days between noon and 12:40pm EST). I, as I'd guess most did, upgraded to platinum level with the expressed purpose of senting emails. In my case, the search emails were to start and support my website which is simply a venue for my photography. Since upgrading Aug 26, I have sent 4 emails in Aug, 26 emails in Sept, 21 emails in Oct, 24 emails in Nov, 25 emails in Dec, and 24 last month.

Lastly, the picture included in my Tasias emails is based on the mostly forgotten ASCII art popular in the 80's and early 90's. The banner box usually just contains a simple message - THANK YOU, or READ PLZ which happens to be one in it now and is there to draw attention (and because I always liked ASCII art).

The payout wait is around 6 months now. I redeemed in October and am told by the site that I can expect payment March 16. I guess that is 5 months not 6.

I am certainly not as active as I was. I'm sure my upline isn't happy about it, but I don't like having a bunch of money held up in someone else's hands. I tend to work hard at the sites that pay me when I redeem. Instant gratification is the American way lol

This is Amy from Tasia's Paid Links. I want to say thanks to Brenda for sending me this info so that I know what is going on with the members. I am seriously ashamed that our members rather than comming to me directly and asking would come here and make assumptions behind our backs. I thought we were all out of highschool people. If my response seems harsh it is because not one of you knows what I am having to go through for you right now. I am having to take care of my husband, two children and deal with complaint emails that make me wonder why I don't just shut the site down until Len is able to resume his role. Which by the way will be more than another month. I have been taking the order email link down because I have been getting too many complaints about the slowness of the site. Then I get too many complaints about the order ability not being up. You can't have it both ways right now so this is what I am going to do. I will resume the orders during the day and shut it off to let the system send out the emails at night. I do not want to have complaints about how slow the system is or I am shutting it down for good. I am at my wits end and do not need this. When I took over the site I knew nothing about it's workings and have had to teach myself with some assistance from Len on his good days. I have been working with everyone that has sent me a message and if you sent one and did not receive a reply then I am sorry it got lost in cyberspace because everyone else has received theirs. As to the payouts, I have been making payments everyday and I have been trying to get the oldest requests done first so they are not waiting while others receive theirs. Once Len returns there are going to be alot of changes in how the site works and is run. I am not going away people so get used to dealing with me. However you need to keep in mind that until Len returns I am doing the work of 3 people. We run our own server. I need to be able to keep it up however I can't do this if I am having to deal with constant complaints. If everyone can be patient and give me the chance to get things going you would be amazed. Keep an eye on the What's New notices. I can't tell you how frustrating it is for me to post messages and then to get a bunch of email from people who don't take the time to read them. Why bother.

I'm sorry, but your response to this thread confuses me Amy. From what I read in your response, you want people to believe that these are all new complaints, that none of this was occurring before Len's accident.

We all know that's not true. This has been going on for months on end. Yet, the same complaints exist today that existed months and months ago. So, why the indignation?

People are going to complain when they get fed up with no real responses to problems that are not in their control to fix. They complained in the appropriate area of the forum. Why is that "high school" behavior?

The very fact that these foks haven't dumped your program is a stand of loyalty.

Maybe, a support folder here is in order since so many emails to you are getting lost in cyberspace. I know from personal experience that not one email I have sent to you all has been responded to.

In my opinion, some graciousness on your part is due moreso than what you put out above.

Amy, I'm sorry Len is unwell, but as Trish has pointed outm these problems with not being able to send out Paid EMails have been going on long before Len became ill.

I paid close on $200 to get my Plat membership, the main attraction was the paid emails, yet I've not for weeks, if not months been able to send out regulary.

I have totally supported your site through spending on advertising, jeeze I must have spent about $150 plus out of my earnings just this year on placing adverts, but it gets me down when I'm constantly unable to send out emails, yet apparently others are allowed, if you're going to allow some users to send them out, then you should allow everyone them, especially those who have splashed out $200 on platinum memberships.

I'd also like to point out, I've actually mailed you about this, but never got a reply!!!

Yeah, Tish I agree with you also, this complaints about being able to send paid emails have been around for a long time before Amy took over. I've been very lucky in the last couple of days cause I've been checking almost every 2 hours in order to be able to send emails. I think it's just a matter of luck and it shouldn't be that way.

Amy, I think the best thing to do would be to set a time daily in which we can send out emails, mayber like 3 or like 5 hours a day so that we plat members will be able to send out emails daily instead of having to rely on luck.

I have read all of your responses and have posted a new What's New notice. If everyone could please read this and pass it on. My biggist problem is having to deal with a lot of the emails where people are not taking the time to read these notices. Trish in response to your reply. I understand where you are comming from however I feel that I am being treated as if I am my husband and therefore handle the site the same as he does. You can ask everyone that has sent me a message since I have taken over and you will find that I have responded to each and every one of them. I do wonder though if the emails you say were never responded to were sent after Jan 28. If not then you have not given me that chance that I deserve to respond. When Len returns one of the main things I am going to be doing besides over seeing the adjustments and changes (all for the better) is to consentrate on member relations. I can gaurantee that every and all emails will get a responce. As to the ordering of paid email. We do not have so many during the night from the other time zones and should someone need one sent then I shall deal with that on an individual basis. Once again I would appreciate that everyone please not treat the situation as "before Len was ill" I am taking over and "before Len was ill" is going to be a thing of the past. Once I have everyone that is pending for payment paid and cleared then we will be able to impliment a new process for payments that will allow everyone to get paid in a timely manner. I actually think that the color is quite soothing to the eyes...much better than black or bright colors.
