----------------------------------------
Many of you, if not all of you came to GetPaidForum (GPForum, GPF) to learn how to get-rich-quick, or at least earn a bit of money.
What I can say to you now is that there is no get-rich-quick scheme, unless you decide to create a game and give yourself a billion game dollars.
In the Get-Paid-To (GPT) world, you must understand that the vast majority of profit-seekers start small. Very small. However, through time, effort and determination, these same profit-seekers will eventually earn more, and more, and more. Though, the maximum you may ever earn through the GPT industry depends on the time you have, the skills you have, the determination to obtain new skills, a can-do attitude and, depending on your offline life issues.
Note: Before you begin in the GPT world, you must have an e-currency available with you so that money that you earn can be sent to you. The two main e-currencies are PayPal and E-Gold, with E-Gold being the most preferred in the GPT world because of its low transaction fees. However, if you are thinking of providing products/services to people, having both e-currencies will help give a wider range of options for the buyer.
Moneybookers and IntGold are also e-currencies that you can use.
E-Currency: Basically, e-currencies such as PayPal holds money that you receive from others for you until you wish to withdraw it into your bank account.
PTRs:
For most of us, we start off with the familiar Paid-To-Read (PTR), Paid-To-Click (PTC), Paid-To-Review, Paid-To-Signup (PTS) and Autosurfs.
PTR (Paid-To-Read): PTRs consist of e-mails, which are sent to your site inbox, which is located once you log-in to the PTR program (the website with the PTR), through your personal e-mail, or, through both. Here, these e-mails will contain messages, and links to various websites on the internet. For each website that you view/read/interact through, you are given a certain amount of money as a ??thank you?? for visiting the person??s website, viewing it, reading through it and interacting with the various links/music/videos/content that are presented.
However, due to the rise in scammers (people who lie/cheat/etc against another person/s), Program Owners (Abbreviation: PO; Also known as the Webmaster/Webmistress/Owner of the program) have been forced to set-up timers, which may last from 5-45 seconds, or more. These timers usually last for around 15-20 seconds, and are used in the hope to prevent scammers/cheaters/etc, from going against the TOS, and to prevent them from not even viewing the website; which is what the advertiser pays for.
The fact is that advertisers pay money to advertise on PTRs in order to earn something from doing so. If those who are supposed to view the website of the advertiser doesn??t even do so, then what is the point of the advertiser paying money to receive nothing? There isn??t a point to it. That is why, if people continue to cheat, not only will it hurt the advertiser, but it will also hurt the members of the PTR, because in the end, the money you receive from the PTR comes from the advertisers.
PTC (Paid-To-Click):
PTCs are usually placed within PTRs. They are exactly what they are named, Paid-To-Clicks, in which you earn money/points for clicking on banners/links within a certain section of a website. Like PTRs, these also have timers to prevent cheating or invalid clicks.
Paid-To-Review:
Although not too common within PTRs, Paid-To-Review is another method of earning which is usually implemented within PTRs. You are shown a list of websites which want you to review their website, and, you browse through the website taking note of graphics/content/speed/etc. You then write your review of the website within a given box in the PTR website. Sending this won??t immediately earn you money in most cases, because the PO of the PTR you are in will first check to make sure that you aren??t cheating by saying things like, ??blah blah blah??. Yet again, proper reviewing of the websites presented will help keep those advertisers, and may even help bring more advertisers via a positive feedback cycle (in which one person says something is good, and other people join??then the process continues. It is one of the factors that led to Microsoft??s success).
The advertisers pay for these reviews because, in the end when selling products & services anywhere in the world, it is the consumer??s (the buyer??s) decision that counts. This is why there is an industry in the GPT industry called ??Paid Survey??s??, which will be discussed later.
PTS (Paid-To-Signup):
PTS is usually implemented within PTRs, like most of the programs if not all that I have discussed above. Here, you are paid to sign-up to a program or service, usually another PTR. In order to reduce inactive sign-ups which brings a loss to the advertiser, a copy of the confirmation e-mail sent to your personal e-mail by the PTR that you have signed-up under must be presented. Like Paid-To-Review, when you sign-up and click on the send button, the money isn??t automatically sent into your account. Instead, the PO will check whether you have truly signed-up to the program you sign-up in.
Yet again, you should not sign-up to programs that you know you won??t have time/effort/money/etc to stay active in. This is because, if you simply sign-up and not be active enough, the advertiser loses money, and because of this, they are usually too afraid to take the risk and purchase another PTS advertisement. Thus, you will never see again the money that could have been yours if you did not cheat.
Autosurfs:
We come to the last main, non-gambling way of earning money via PTRs. Autosurfs is yet another way of earning money/points, which is usually located within PTRs. Here, you click on a link, which will send you via a new window to the autosurf website. Here, you will continuously see websites, with each changing after a given amount of time, instead of having to click on a link to view each website like when using PTRs and PTCs. However, there is usually ??turing numbers??, which are numbers/letters which are presented before and after a timer.
Here, when the timer goes to 0, a letter/number will appear below or above the timer. You must then click on the correct matching number/letter next to the timer in order to earn money/points. You will continuously go through different websites until there is none left to view.
PPC Search Engines & Paid Surveys:
After we have earned a bit of money from PTRs (usually around $5-$10 per PTR, per month), we are able to start advertising ourselves and start to contribute to the PTR world as an advertiser. Here, we use this advertisement to advertise other PTRs, in order to gain a downline (those who sign-up under you in a program??which earns you a % reward of their profit). However, some other advertisers may use it for something called PPC Search Engines (Pay-Per-Click Search Engines).
Another one people usually start joining is programs called Paid Surveys, in which you are paid for giving your opinion.
PPC Search Engines:
You may have seen these Search Engines whilst reading e-mails in the PTRs that you have joined. These Search Engines (SE s) pays you a percentage of the amount that advertisers have bidded (such as in an auction) on certain keywords (such as medicine, PTR, games, hosting, etc). Due to the fact that a lot of PTRs consist of a considerable amount of members (5000 or so), with a few search country members (such as USA, Canada, Australia, UK), advertising on PTRs can help earn money from these Search Engines.
You see, the members of the PTRs that you advertise the SE to might search through these SE s, and thus, earn you a profit. However, there is a risk that the place you advertise might not have enough valids (clicks which earn you money), and you may lose instead of gain from advertising.
However, if you do your research properly, such as viewing the Promotion Advice folder on GPForum, you can earn over $120 or so (net profit), per month.
Paid Surveys:
Although some people may have signed up to Paid Surveys along with PTRs, for most of you, Paid Surveys may be new, especially if you only just started on PTRs. Here, companies pay to have surveys placed on websites that hold a large database of surveys that pay members (thus, the name Paid Surveys). You can earn cash/gift certificates and various other rewards for participating in surveys, where you can openly give your opinion on certain products/etc. For some, it is simply a questionnaire where you click on boxes to voice your opinion. For others, it may be that you have to write a comment about a certain product/service. More rarer, but the most popular and most interactive are ones in which you get to listen to music/watch movies/read books that have not yet been released. Your opinion is used to help companies decide whether they should release products/services to the community, or, whether they should just drop it. Sometimes, surveys may be used to see what improvements should be made to already existing products.
Microsoft used to have undercover people who would sit on commuter lines (such as trains and buses), and strike up a conversation with people in it about what they like about Microsoft, what platform they use, what should be improved, etc. This gave Microsoft important feedback, which helped it to attract more users.
Within Paid Surveys are Focus Groups and Discussion Groups, in which a group of members talk to each other about certain products/services/issues. Sometimes, the CEO, employer or a representative of the company being discussed will also be in the group, to ask questions directly, etc.
However, Paid Surveys don??t appear everyday like PTRs usually do, and they often appear only once every month, if not every three or so months. However, the money that can be earned from Paid Surveys is much better than PTRs when we talk about it in terms of how much time we spend. Thus, it is always good to keep a few Paid Survey programs on hand.
Bubble Games, HYIPs, Doublers, Matrixes and Randomizers:
Now, I will introduce to you the main, profitable methods of earning money, but with a high risk factor. These are Bubble Games, HYIPs, Doublers, Matrixes and Randomizers, in which you must first deposit money, to earn a return.
Bubble Game:
Bubble games are only allowed in E-Gold, and not PayPal (both online payment systems). Bubble games are just like bubbles. You sign-up for a bubble game and the owner of the bubble game will usually either double, triple, or whatever amount more, your original money that you put into the game (usually 150%). Once you put the minimum amount of money that is set by the owner into the game, you will be allowed to have your own bubble. This bubble includes your own advertisement which you can place on your bubble.
Your bubble rises as more people join in and create their own bubbles by spending a bit of their money. Once you reach the top, your bubble "pops" and you receive your money back, including how much more that the owner promised.
Say for example, the owner promises 200% of your deposit once the bubble is complete. You deposit US$10. Once your bubble pops, you get US$20! You can keep on joining these bubble games and eventually, receive quite a lot of money!
However, there is a catch!
With Bubble Games, the last few people who join almost always loses and doesn't receive any money. Why? This is because when one person "pops" their bubble, the extra money that they receive is paid off by the members who joined after him/her, and so forth. Also, the PO of the Bubble Game will usually take a certain percentage of each ??spend?? (money you spend in the game) in order to profit for themselves, and to pay off for hosting fees/etc. However, many Bubble Games are neverending and thus, you will usually always earn more money and not lose, unless people stop joining the game. Like HYIP which will be explained below, the earlier you are in, the safer you are and the earlier you'll "pop" (hopefully).
HYIP:
HYIPs are almost like Bubble Games in the risk factor. Here, you deposit a bit of money (usually a fixed amount), such as US$2. You are paid how much the PO says you will be paid, such as 0.5% daily for 24 days, etc. HYIPs usually consists of many plans that you can choose to join, with different amount of profit that can be earned.
Some HYIPs may use the Bubble Game method and pay you via the money that those who sign-up under you pay the program. However, those which are most sustainable and long-lasting are ones in which the owner uses the money you place for investments in shares, etc. It is like investment programs such as WestBank or INGDirect, where the money you deposit is used on investments. The profit that is incurred from the investments is given to you in the proportion that is allocated by the owner.
However, this still has a risk as the owner may invest in shares which fall or in a company that suddenly turns bankrupt, taking the money with them.
Doublers:
Doublers are as they are named. They are like Bubble Games, though, you are doubled your money. There are also Triplers, etc which are based around Doublers. Here, however, Doublers usually do not give you advertisement along with the position that you purchase, and Doublers call your spend, a ??spend??, or, a ??spot??, instead of a ??bubble??.
Just like Bubble Games, once you reach the top of the line, you gain 200% of your spend. However, here, you can easily see where you are on the line and the script used on doublers is usually more stable and secure than that one Bubble Games, allowing higher deposits, and thus, higher returns to be made possible.
Yet again, there is always a risk that you will not be able to receive even the money you spent. Thus, getting in to doublers as fast as possible, and promoting the doubler is the best way to help boost your chances of doubling.
Just remember that if any of these (excluding HYIP) accepts PayPal as a means of payment and as a means of sending you money, you should ignore them and not spend with them, as PayPal??s TOS (Terms of Service) says that you are not allowed to use their payment system to send or receive payments from any form of gambling.
Reselling:
Now that we have taken out the most popular and most widely known programs for earning money, let??s head off to the rapidly growing industry of reselling. Although not as popular, many people still know about this ??industry??. Basically, you sell something for a company and earn a bit of profit for doing so. It is almost like being a door-to-door salesman, in which you profit from a commission (a percentage of the product/service you have sold) from the products/services you have sold. Of course, the good thing about reselling is that you do not need to own the product/service, nor do you need any skills to produce the products/services.
There are two main types of reselling:
1. You resell by selling products/services that you don??t have in your possession, in which you earn a profit if you sell the product/service over the ??resell price?? (the price the company sells the product/service to you so you can resell it).
2. You resell by first purchasing ??resell rights?? (the right to sell something; permission from the owner to resell their products/services). Resell rights cost money, and is at a higher price than if you were to simply buy the product/service. After that, you may charge any price (unless there is a guideline/rule specified by the owner), and at any amount.
Ad Reselling:
Reselling advertisements for GPT programs such as PTRs is quite popular on GPForum. Here, Pos of the PTRs ask you to sell their advertisements. The process usually involves them giving you an advertisement to sell advertisements on their program, such as, ??blahblahPTR.com
1x500 PTRs, 7 days: $7.95??
etc. You then sell these via advertising in the Auction House and Reverse Auction House (both in the Auctions Category), Advertisement Offers (in the Advertisement Category) and via your signature. However, you should make note of any rules within each folder.
Here, you earn a % of the price of each advertisement that you sell. However, sometimes, there is a fixed reseller price that you purchase the advertisements for, and you charge above the reseller price to your potential advertisers to earn a profit.
You usually PM the owner of the program with the advertisement that the advertiser wants placed on the PO s program, but on some cases, you must manually place the advertisement/s on the program yourself (which is still fairly easy, because you use the Cpanel).
Reseller Hosting:
Reselling Hosting packages is also quite common within the GPT world, where you resell hosting packages. They come in the two main options that were mentioned in the introduction to reselling. They generally produce more profits for you, but unless you only keep to forums such as GPForum??s ??Hosting & Scripts Offers?? folder in the Advertisement section, you will need a website and hosting + domain name yourself. Producing a website might not be too easy, and having a professional website design might make it worse, but the parent hosting company which is offering you the reseller hosting will probably give you a fully coded and designed website for you.
For Reseller hosting, you usually offer people small hosting packages, and with that, you give a proportion of the storage space and bandwidth that you have in your reseller hosting package, to them.
Let??s say you have 1000mb (1 gb; 1000 MegaBytes) of storage space, and 20gb (20 GigaBytes) of Bandwidth. If you offer people 100mb of storage space and 1gb of bandwidth, you would be able to offer your services to 10 people which would take up all 1000mb of storage space, and 10 gb of bandwidth. You can buy several reseller hosting packages, if you have more people wanting hosting from you.
E-Book/Software/Services Reseller:
Reselling for E-Books (electronic books), Software and Services isn??t as common as it is much harder to find buyer??s, but it is still an okay option to take. The process usually uses the two main options of reselling, and resellers are usually found reselling on their own websites (with hardly any reselling on forums).
Script Reseller:
Reselling scripts such as the CC (Cash-Crusader) script that runs a lot of PTRs, and the Doubler script for Doubler programs, is also very popular, which can be shown via the immense numbers of PTRs/Doublers/HYIPs/PPC Search Engines, etc, which probably all bought their scripts to run their program from resellers. However, obtaining legitimate resell rights is not always easy, as there are many scammers who pretend to have resell rights in order to legally sell you the scripts they have. You should always check on google.com (a famous search engine) for the owner of each script that you are about to buy, or resell, and ask or check whether the person you are buying from, or whether you yourself has official resell rights to the scripts.
For example, check the CashCrusader website (http://cashcrusader.myecom.net/), and there is an option where you can check who has resell rights to the CC script.
For Master Resell Rights, you can not only sell the scripts given to you, but you can give resell rights to other people as well.
You can sell these scripts via your signature, the ??Scripts For Sale?? sub-folder of the ??Hosting and Scripts Requests?? folder in the ??Advertisements?? category located on GPForum, or via requests in the ??Requests?? folder of the ??Advertisements?? category, or when members wish to obtain the script you are selling in the ??Scripts Wanted?? sub-folder of the ??Hosting and Scripts Requests?? folder in the ??Advertisements?? category, which is all located in GPForum.
Affiliate Programs:
Affiliate Programs are especially useful if you own a website or forum, as they earn you a commission for each product/service that you sell. Basically, this is almost like reselling, but it usually involves less effort as you only need to copy and paste a snippet of code in your website (which will be turned into an advertisement). A program such as GoogleAdsense (https://www.google.com/adsense/?hl=en_GB)can be considered an Affiliate Program, only you do not get a commission from any product/service that is sold, but instead, you earn a % for the bidded price of an advertisement (just like PPC Search Engines).
Programs such as CPMs (Click-Per-Thousand; though, you may not understand why it is M, but I believe a word starting with M stands for Thousand in another language), pay you a fixed amount of money, usually $1, per 1000 views that are received on your website. This is quite profitable if you have a large amount of unique traffic (where individuals who go to your site are only counted once), per month.
For instance, if you have 1000 unique visitors per day, you would earn around $30 per month, without having to do anything as tiring as PTR.
Of course, there are probably many affiliate programs that I have yet to think of, but they are out there, and just waiting for you to discover.
Skill-Based Profit-earners:
There are various skill-based profit-earners out there in the online money-making world. The GPT programs I have mentioned above require almost no skill to gain a profit (but of course, some skills in things such as advertising and marketing does have its benefits), and thus, earnings are relatively low.
The most common skills that people tend to try to learn are: graphic designing, HTML and PHP. These are the main skills that are learnt, as graphic designing can earn you anywhere from a penny a month to hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on your skills and creative talent. HTML is the base for building a website, and websites can earn you money via affiliate programs, the selling of goods and services, as well as from advertisers who advertise on your website/forum. PHP is another useful skill, as it creates a more dynamic and interactive version of a HTML-only website. It is the main coding language that is used to produce scripts such as PTR scripts and Search Engines such as Google and Yahoo!. Thus, it is also one of the most popular scripts out there.
Starting a forum, dating website, classifieds, job listing, etc, can also be beneficial to you from advertisers, affiliate programs, etc.
Thus, there is a myriad of programs and money-making options available to you. All it takes is a bit of searching, some R&D (Research and Development) and a can-do attitude.
Go around GPForum to find helpful information on various programs, advertisement offers, and deals that you just can??t miss. Maybe you will do some research via the ??Praises & Applause??, ??Complaints?? and ??Promotion Advice?? sections to determine whether you should join a certain program, and where you should advertise.
Although there is a whole world out there, just like when we were young, we can??t suddenly shove ourselves with a whole myriad of ideas and knowledge, nor can we be like The Matrix and obtain experience with a flick of the wrist. With constant research, development and experience, you will be able to understand the intricate mechanics that drive various programs and you will be swept into the world of GPT, as a knowledgeable person. With this knowledge, you will obtain things that newcomers will not have obtained, and use such knowledge to your profitable advantage.
Good luck in your everlasting quest for success in terms of goals of profit that you may have assigned, and if you need any help, please feel free to PM derukureetsu. Although I don??t know everything, I do know something.
Note: You should have realized by now that, as you progress through these various programs, new and more exciting and profitable programs and money-making options will be open to you, whether it is because you have earned enough money to start a program, or, you have gained enough experience knowledge to advance forward.
Edited to add:
Make money from Blogs/Journals:
Many people have never heard of this type of money-making, but it can earn you a bit of money, whilst you jot down those valuable memories so that you can view them when you are bored, or are retired and have nothing else to do.
There are two ways of earning money from blogs/journals. One is to create your own blog, host it, and place googleAdsense, etc, on it and create a network for different bloggers to read each others blogs.
Or, you can sign-up to some paying blogs, in which you are paid if you have a large "friends" database, etc. Usually, they place ads at the top of the blog, to generate revenue for themselves and to pay for your hostng, etc.
Although it doesn't earn you a large sum of money, it is still useful, as many people write journals/diaries/blogs to keep their memories forever, even after death.
Ad Agency:
Do you know how Ad Agencies in the offline world work?
Well, online ones can work the same!
An Ad Agency online could be described quite differently from person to person, but this is how I think it is:
You create a website, and have scripts installed which allows advertisers to place their advertisements, and to purchase various products/services. Whilst doing this, you also have the affiliates. This is not a new concept, but some additions that I will be talking about might be fairly new, and you could gain a fair sum of money to be some of the first to implement them (since I'm too lazy to implement them).
Basically, contacting large websites with huge amounts of traffic (instead of getting small websites which will get hardly any good results for the advertiser). Simply contact large websites with your offer (But don't spam, please). Offer them something like $1.50-whatever amount you want to pay them for 1000 page views, etc, for an advertisement. Then charge the advertiser $2 or so per 1000 advertisements (or as much as you like), to earn yourself a profit.
Also offer per 1000 clicks, and offer advertisers something like being able to advertise on your advertising network that you have created, but for something like 20% commission of the products/services that are sold via having customers directed via your ad network.
Not only this, but how about actually MAKING the advertisements for the advertiser? Offer them not only advertising banners, but brochures, etc. Why? This is because, offline, Ad Agencies not only place advertisements for the advertiser, but they also make the advertisements, creating an extra load of profit (which is usually greater than the actual advertisement price itself!).
This little addition to being just a normal ad agency is hard to see in the GPT world, as far as I have explored it over the past year.
If you do implement this, I advise you to hire graphic designers, either freelance, or, permanent graphic designers. Give these graphic designers a percentage of the sale such as 90% (since they do all the work on the graphic designing part), or, a fixed amount of money, an hourly rate-based income, etc.
