                            Allied invasion of Normandy

The invasion of Normandy took place at June 6th 1944 by the Headquarters

committee of Britan and The US.

Already at 1942 Britain and the US have established a shared headquarters

which was made for an exact planning of an invasion of The US Forces from

britain to Western Europe.

At january 1944 General Dwight Eisenhower was appointed as the

operation commander, and Montgomry as the land forces commander.

 As a defending purpose the German built the "Atlantic Wall", that was

made with obstacles, land mines, and other defending methods,

for all over the Western Europe beachs.

At the morning of june 6th 1944 the invasion has begun.

More than 2 million soldiers, 4 thousands seacrafts, and 10 thousands

aircrafs from the Allied forces have participated in the invasion.

By the end of July 1944 the Allied forces have managed to take over

a part of the German forces.

By Augost 25h the Allied forces have released Paris from

the conquering of Germany, and so is Belgium by the end of September.

- not exactly sure what you mean here.. Maybe - "On August 25th, the Allied forces freed Paris from Germany's rule, and did the same for Belgium by the end of September"
