i can hear music only from the left speaker
and i can put in headphones (or howevah u call these little ear plugs

) on the
right speaker so that means the right speaker is fine

when i set up the headphones i can hear only on the left
again..

i checked the sound stuff on start->prog->access->entertain->sound stuff

and its ok there...

HELP HELPPPP

rotate the connector in the back of the computer while playing music. There is a chance that its the sound-card plugin OR the speakers/headphones are stuffed up.
