earlier today it took so long after I put my name and password in that I gave up, then a hour latter tried and it was sooo slow but finnally let me in aa.gif everythign worked fine but I have a important ? If you look to the left hand side there is a new user agreement and if you read it (click on it) it says if members do NOT agree to this after 60 days that they will consider it that you do not agree with it and they will cancel your account. My question is this... there is no button to click if you agreee so what do you do? another program allerted all his members about this , said to go and read it , so do they automatically know you read it and how do they know you agreed to it? I do not want my account deleted , I agree with the new terms. anyone have any ideas?? thanks.

Are you talking about this?

PayPal has recently made several important changes to our User Agreement and Privacy Policy. Please read the new User Agreement and Privacy Policy, because they contain important information about your PayPal account, your rights as a PayPal user, and the ways in which PayPal will use your personal information.

After you have reviewed the User Agreement and Privacy Policy below, please choose the "I agree to these terms" radio button (and the corresponding checkbox) and click Continue. If you fail to read and agree to the new User Agreement within 60 days, PayPal will assume you do not accept PayPal's User Agreement and prefer not to do business with PayPal. In such circumstances, after providing additional notice, PayPal will close your account and pay out any existing balance under the terms of the old User Agreement.

Note: The User Agreement below will take immediate effect for all PayPal accounts signing up on or after February 7, 2003. PayPal accounts who signed up prior to February 7, 2003, will have 60 days after the date they next log in to their PayPal account to decide whether they agree to the new User Agreement. These accounts will continue to be governed by the old User Agreement until they agree to the new User Agreement, or until June 4, 2003, whichever comes first.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you scroll down, there is something like this:

I have read and agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, and the terms incorporated by reference.
I have read and agree to the Legal Disputes section of the User Agreement, including my rights with regard to the arbitration of claims.
I decline

with boxes for you to choose and continue with it. aa.gif

Im going back now, maybe the page didnt full;y load the first 2 times I went , as i said it took forever to get on the site. But I was there a while , first time had to put password in becuase readfing everything took to long lol.im going now, I hope the bottum is there because I dont want to lose my account, I use pay pal for paying for lots of advetising ah.gif and to get payed!
well this time I got right in , lets see if I can find that button ab.gif
ok I had been told to go the the thing on the left of the screen and there is no button there , now I will check at the bottom where it says user agreement...( I was looking under the title of policy updates, this is where the program I am in told their users to go, was on the left hand side of the first screen)
GRRR, it is not here either ah.gif look this is what mine says:

User Agreement for PayPal? Service

To view the old User Agreement, click here.

If a customer does not agree to the new User Agreement within the 60-day period, PayPal will assume that the customer does not accept PayPal's User Agreement and prefers not to do business with PayPal. In such circumstances, after providing additional notice to the customer, PayPal will close the customer's account and pay out any existing balance under the terms of the old User Agreement.

there is no bottun to agree or disagree ah.gif maybe if you are already a user no it says even older users have to agree to this within 60 days BUT I HAVE NO BUTTON! sighs why dont they just send a email with the bottun lol

what are the differences in the agreements, anyone know? ao.gif
ruhappytoseeme
Well , I didnt pay to much attention the first time, but this time I read it thru and for the most part , it has to do mostly with outside of the usa. It will not effect what I use it for and I really wanted to click I agree, but for some reason there is no button. If others have the same problem you better get in touch with pay pal becuase it says if you do not agree with it in 60 days that they will delete you and you will get your money back as their terms say (wich someone has told us before is like 180 days or something!) Some are seeing the button and some arent so if you do not see it and you do agree , contact pay pal aa.gif ( im stillw aiting on a answer, the first one came very fast but didnt help any lol hopefully they get back to me tomorrow or the next day aa.gif have a greatr night if I get a reply I will post it and of cource post if it worked ac.gif
