hi all,

i sent this message to members of all my sites as well as many agencies. FYI...

------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT PTR FRAUD/SCAM INVOLVING PAYPAL & EMAILPIZZERIA
------------------------------------------------------------------

Just thought I would make everyone aware of this little gem i found in my paypal account this morning. I know it is only $15, but that money was for Partial Payouts I was going to do tonite or Monday morning for one of my websites and I'm flat broke - $15 is a lot right now.

I belonged to EMAILPIZZERIA PTR long ago and upgraded, NO SUBSCRIPTION, and cancelled my account several about 6 months ago when there other site DOLLARS FACTORY took my money and turned into a redemption only site.

I filed a FRAUD COMPLAINT with PayPal, who really does nothing. But here is the info on how they "took" me. This is my business account and how they got this I don't know. I used my personal PayPal account when I upgraded andjust do not remember it being s subsription or would NEVER have joined.

This just for your info and pass it along to anyone you know. Also if you are a webmaster or PO, please share this with your members. I have filed Fraud Complaint not just with PayPal with the numerous other agencies, as if any of this will help:

Kerri, what site do you own?

I can't help you with this fraudster but may be able to help with purchasing an ad from you (provided you have a safe Paypal account right now).

Noticed you are from Aberdeen. I lived in Tacoma for 18 years so would like to help out a fellow ex-neighbor smile.gif

Sorry about this incident though. You know, this may or may not have been THIS guys fault. Someone else may have accessed your account and then spent the money at his site (just a thought is all)

Apparently after they switched to ads-only at DollarsFactory they did not cancel all of the old upgraded membership subscriptions for benefits/advertising options that no longer existed.

Last month I was billed $200 by them, so I had my bank stop payment on the PayPal echeck. I then emailed PayPal and explained what happened, and I received a nice email back from PayPal saying they understood the situation and that it was okay to stop the payment.

Thanks for letting me know about this. Just went to PP and pulled up a
report for subscriptions over the last year. Sure enough, one was there
for E-Pizzeria($200) due on the 4th March. Swiftly cancelled.

Everyone should check to see if you have ANY active subscriptions, you
don't want to have a little(or big) surprise somewhere down the line. rolleyes.gif

Apparently... Dollars Factory has been placed on the auction block For Sale to the highest bidder as of today... cool.gif

That is shocking!!

Being a fellow Aberdonian- Scotland not WA!! I am appalled that people can still get away with things like this!!
