I joined a search engine, but I am not sure how to set up a search portal.... What do you send to the advertisers to do a search ad?

You can try www.getaportal.com to setup a search portal , its free of cost. All you have to do is copy and paste the code provided on the search portal into the html editor after creating a new page in getaportal and you can then advertise that portal page.
