Full Version: Small trouble with my website

just a simple question, but I get confused enough blink.gif tongue.gif biggrin.gif

I have a domain (for personal webstite, not PTR site tongue.gif ), and have upload an "index.html" page on it.. but if I type "www.mydomain.com" in my browser, the page is not appear.. I have to type "www.mydomain.com/index.html" to reach the page..

can you tell me what is wrong, or where should I change the setting? Thanks..

Try changing it to .htm.

Or ask your web host what the default is.

PS: Problem is fixed already.. the index is supposed to be .html instead of .htm..
my previous index is .htm

That is a poorly set up server

you can also go into page redirects in cpanel and set the domain url to
automatically forward to your index.php page wink.gif

Forgot to update the link. Changed the domain earlier this week. Should work now.
