Do you install it through FTP like scripts like CC or does it have to do with the server? Is it worth installing?

You can install it on a server in root or alternately there is a file you can upload into an individual account on a server.
You don't need it for a cash crusader.

Your hosting should have that installed already. You need to be administrator on that host to install it yourself.

As it speeds up PHP code executions almost, if not, every hosting provider has that installed already.

Zend is make by the company who makes php, it turns php into it's ozn code and runs upto 5* faster

Since I already have mmcache installed, what happens if I install zend?

i am told that turk does have a fast load time than zend but ecvery one is going with zend with there scpit encodeing


Since version 2.3.15, Turck MMCache is compatible with Zend Optimizer's loader. Zend Optimizer must be installed after Turck MMCache in php.ini. If you don't use scripts encoded with Zend Encoder then we do not recommend you install Zend Optimizer with Turck MMCache.

There's no problem if you install Zend + MMCACHE. The only problem with mmcache is that when you upgrade your PHP to newer version you MUST recompile turck

yes - when you recompile apache you should install turck again and link new *.so library in php.ini.

you have to edite the php.ini

Zend Optimizer must be installed after Turck MMCache in php.ini.
