I went back to the trash bin because I know its got coke in it and there are really hungry cats living near it. I fed the cats, went over and found 6 cans of orange I sell and then saw a coke carton with at least 15 cans in. Was about to take them out when the Lebanese trolley man appeared and took them from me, without touching me, sort of pushed me out of the way with body language. so I started babbling on its a crime to throw this stuff away, I am looking for stale bread for the pigeons etc. He even picked up my carton to see what I had. So i know what its about, they want it. I think it was rude to butt in when I was just about to take something out. He followed me. He was working in the shopping centre. So I missed out on the coke I could have sold for at least $15.

you can sell 15 cans of coke for 15.00? here they go for 5 to 6 dollars.

I am sorry you arent having luck with the trash, are you sure they guy doesnt work for the place that the trash belongs to? Here the guy from cvs comes out if you are in their dumpster and tells you that its illigal to take the stuff (dont know how true it is) so we arent allowed to take it (wish we were, we could use a lot of stuff they throw away)
maybe you ahould go there really late at night and see if you have a better chance? Make sure t0 take someone with you

He collects trolleys for them but if he was more entitled to me they should let him take it inside. I am a customer in the store and have spent a lot of money there. I believe it is a crime to throw that much stiuff away. I sell cans for $1 each in my vending machines and they throw away lots with only damaged cartons not cans. Also there is everything from fruit and veges to storage containers. I am planning to go back because of the cats. there are babies. they cant get ib the dumpster its too high and the food is often sealed. Its so sad the see very hungry animals. there are some at the medical centre too and railway stsion in my area. So sad. I wish I got that coke tonight. I should have fed the cats last. They can say its illegal but hes doing it and its a crime to throw so many good things away. I will just keep saying I am after stale bread i think.

I also think it is a crime for them to just throw it away, if they wont let you take it then they should donate it to needy people, but to just throw it away is very sad

OMG...there are so many hungry mouth to feed in the world...so many homeless people, which are living on the streets...why the don't give away the damaged cartons to the homeless shelters?

And the poor cats..I'm always so sad if I hear something like that...I have three cats and all were formerly street cats my little Paco was thrown away like cruft
