In another thread, Brian's webpage abt Paidbizopmail was accused of slander and libel right ? Well, I have redone the page just stating the facts alone so that rob bowen cannot accuse anyone of slander. below is the source code. appreciate if you can copy and paste it into a html file and promote it using your own traffic programs to avoid others from being cheated. thanks.

Whether this is intentional fraud or just a really bad business decision, it has yet to be determined. I personally feel it is the latter.

This caused a ravenous uproar among the get paid industry promoters and users. People certainly did get scammed, and it was obvious it was very intentional. Did Jotter disappear? No, in fact they made it very public that they were bought by a large technology company based around Redmond, Washington by the name of Saflink. They had publicized how much the sale was for. Although I cannot remember how much the figure was, I do remember it was far more than what they owed members, as if they did not have the money in the first place from the revenue that was generated from the ad serving. This was looked at as a 'rub it your face' kind of deal. They got away with it and they knew there was nothing anyone could do about it.

Why did they get away with it? Simply because nobody paid to join, everyone joined for free. All the time and money that a person spends to promote a program is not considered a loss in the yes of the ifccfbi either.

What's worse and often abused, is placing in the TOS that a person's account can be deleted at any time for no or any reason at all. When a person joins a program, they agree to the TOS.

I am not certainly not saying that people are not being treated unfairly, but over the last several years it has been the same thing over and over again and there are *no laws* to protect people in cases like this, so the complaints to legal entities go nowhere.

This brings me to a not so publicized poll asking if you feel get paid programs should be required by law to be bonded. I believe they should. Of course, this is not very popular with program owners, but it should be, as a bond would give the general public an added assurance, which in turn would give the entire get paid industry a big lift.

I have much more details as to the basics of what I propose in requiring get paid programs to be bonded. For the most part, the bonds would be based on factors that include the minimum payout. The higher the minimum, the higher the bond, because with a higher payout, more money is being held onto. This would aid in getting people to be more realistic in setting minimums among other things regarding the pay structure of a program, and at the same time, it helps deter actual fraud, like RichMails for example, because the bond would carry a high price.

If anyone is more interested in this issue, the poll is at:
http://isaaf.com/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.c...=ST;f=22;t=1637

This is something I am very serious about. I want to generate enough interest to where this can be lobbied for. We can't just keep going through the same thing over and over again. Program blasts off, people earn money, people get deleted or program closes and takes all the money, people complain to authorities, authorities do nothing, they do nothing because they can't.

The people that use any of these programs have to initiate the changes because the government is *too busy* with other *bigger* things.

I was a member before he put the poll here and so is brian so that can not be his intention. I think it is a good idea as long as the w/m` with a very low payout dont have to pay much or maybe if it is so low they can get it for free( like 5.00 or less payout) I dont think w/m`s make that much money in the end only the cheaters do. and I think this bond should also help the w/m` if someone TRUELY cheats them! it should be both ways becuase they get ripped off all the time from cheaters also. just so yopu know I am NOT a w/m just a member of many programs, and as for all the countries well if the country cant be included then they have to join at their own risk I guess? just my 2 cents

Still flogging this dead horse, Paul?

It will never happen.

And what do you call this vicious cycle of complaining and reporting and expecting to get somewhere, and never does? What is the point of going to the authorities like everyone so quickly jumps to do, when there is nothing they can do?

My main point is that it *IS USLESS* to complain to the authorities *BUT WE CAN* do something about it. Everybody wants *SOMETHING* to be done, but *NOBODY* is taking action, however, I initiated a new concept that is valid and I feel it should be explored.

This would not create financial ruin. I was an insurance agent at one point in my life and was required to be bonded for $10,000. It cost me $5 a month.

As to getting people to register at iSAAF, I could care less where people go to get info. I do believe people should get their info from more than one source but that is entirely up to them where they go. It's just easier to post a link to relevant info rather than copy and paste a ton of stuff.

So, why are you so against it? This concept of bonds actually seems to have really hit a nerve with you, or is it just me?
ruhappytoseeme
hmm why do you say reporting to the fbi is useless? they replied to me and I DO live in the usa and they even had a thing for people in other countries becuase they will then report it to the right place themselves. I believe in what you are saying but I also think more needs to be done if the company is truely scamming people. But I also think there should be more help for the truely honest web masters. It wqorks both ways we all need the help. I dont think it is useless to report to REAL authorities and I cetainly dont think copying and posting lenghtly postshere is useless becuase it keeps people informed as to what is being done or said... as in my posting my emails and others doing so well that lets people know how wide spread it is.... if we didnt post them we would think we were the only ones being scammed and maybe wouldnt do anything about it, I was gonna write paidbizop off but after i sent my letter I found the forums and saww just how many were effected and I changed my mind and wrote and wrote till I got a answer wich then pi##ed me off and I pretty much lost it as I have never been accused of cheating . But like I said he has reinstated me I do not know what changed his mind BUT something did. any way.. I believe in the bond but highly doubt it will be implemented, its so hard for anything on the net to be monitered right. But I dont think people should stop posting their thoughts as we are all we have , we need to keep each other informed, w/m`s and members alike. thanks for your time.

Yes you will get a reply, but, the FBI will not pursue anything where a person reports to be at a loss, i.e. earnings, when in fact, by legal definition, a person is not at a loss when they did not pay anything to join in the first place. In other words, nothing came out of your pocket and was given to the company, so you are not at a loss.

Any person can start a program and give high earnings, and put some figures in your stats. You can watch your earnings grow. Then the program owner can just delete your account or shut the program down altogether at a whim (and it does not really matter what is in the TOS) and by legal standards, you are not at a loss, mainly because you are not an employee of the company, you are an independent and when a person joins a program, they agree that their account can be deleted for pretty much no reason at all. This quite clear in nealry all programs' TOS. Although it is not much of a legal contract, it does have some weight.

This has been going on for years now and it is the same thing all over again every time. Literally 100's of sites have been reported and nothing has ever come out of it. Why? Not because they don't care, but because they have to follow the letter of the law, in this case, there are no laws broken so they can do nothing but kindly reply to a complaint to let you know they have reviewed it. That's as far as it goes. The internet as we know it is barely even 10 years old yet. The authorities do not go out and make the new laws, they just follow them. It takes the people to create new laws.

The story has been the same for years now and I have watched all this going in big circles. Complaining or reporting to a legal entity is useless because there are no laws broken. Why? Because they have not been created yet. New laws will not get created if we all wait for the guys at the top to make them. They have no idea or interest in this. This industry is quite obviously a multi-million dollar industry, look at the figures at 1heluva for a small sample. This industry is by no means small, and as such, it should not be just pushed to the side.

Well you will have to forgive me for over reacting to what you deem as a financial disadvantage. I guess the disadvantage that $5 a month would make is entirely relative.

QUOTE
There was a body able to enforce that, it was deemed to be important enough to legislate on it, and no-one would have been prepared to make use of a non-bonded insurance agent. So, your point is?

I live in Tacoma. I run an internet business from my home. I have my business legally registered with the state and city governments. If I was required to have a bond for the type of business I run, what makes it unenforceable versus an insurance agent next door, or a contractor across the street?

As to being deemed important enough, there was a time when it was not required for insurance agents. Why? Because there were not enough people interested in protecting themselves from shady insurance agents. Until then, everyone bought from non bonded insurance agents.

Yes we are all getting deleted for nothing. Because indeed some people can have same IP. It happens all the time. You can't delete people just for having same IP that is ridicolous ah.gif am.gif am.gif am.gif

They should also check the ISPs to get an approximate idea if they live close, and also, if possible check the MAC address as well, but what that guy Bob Bowen or whawtever his name is, has done to others, is not fair (im not in paidbiz) and if he was innocent, why doesnt he come explain himself at here GPTF.com?

The IP thing has been hashed and rehashed and it's plain STUPID that more program owners do not bother to READ information!

I found out about IP's the hard way. I was on a 'cheater hunt' as a new program owner, and lo! my OWN test account came up with 30 others! DUH! WE ALL HAD THE SAME ISP!!

sigh.
Brianlfc
The thing is, all this IP thing is simply a smoke-screen!

No matter what anyone (and that includes any cronies that Rob(ber) ) send here to tell us this, I still don't belive it. The "real" reason we were deleted was he can't afford to pay all the accounts out!

Simple as that!
ppprk
Right, all this IP thing is just an excuse.

anyone remember net4biz??
The owner used the same excuse whenever he delete members

I guess its the same, nothing can be done when someone steals all your e-gold, or e-bullion in my case. Can anything be done about these e-gold thieves, as they are actually stealing money? or are internet currencies not seen as real currency? Lately I have seen many posts about e-gold being stolen, and posts about account payment information being changed.
