I don't entirely understand how paid searches work; could someone please explain about them (can you do them yourself and get paid?) and recommend a good program with a low payout through Paypal?

Thank you!
Mango88
Only a few allow you to do them yourselves..

PayProfit is one of them..

Searchbotz is another god one that pays at no minimum through Paypal but you cannot search by yourself. Most paid search companies do not allow you searching for yourself. That is why there is a search exchange set up on getpaidforum where people search for others.

Paid searches? Do you mean paid to search programs? If so then there are a number of programs from stonediver (snailmails, dumbolina, jumbolina, payprofit.....)

OK, this paid searching thing is obviously huge, but I know nothing whatsoever about it. Sure I do lots of searches for PTR companies, but I just for the first time looked in the Search Exchange folder and it's completely Greek to me. How would I get in on this? Go ahead and laugh at me, but I must ask dumb questions like these or I will learn nothing: aa.gif

--I need a website to put the search box on, right?
--What are some good free website hosting companies?
--Do I just get a site and slap some search boxes on there?

Please, someone with mercy and patience throw a clue my way to get me started. Thanks a lot!! aa.gif

Hi K....okay,pen ready..here's a lesson in search101

I need a website to put the search box on, right?

only if you really want to.Almost every search engine provides you with a search link...if you dont want to go thru the hassle of setting up a page with little search boxes all over, you can simply promote the search text link you get from the engine. If you have a site already,by all means, put on a box

Geocities and freewebz--there are plenty of good ones, those are just the ones i use

Back to question one, only if you want to.In my experience, its always better to use the link provided by the engine and if they dont have a text search link, then by all means, get a site and "slap some search boxes on there".

If you have any more questions, pls post here or in the search exchange discussion thread, tonnes of pple will help you there.

Also, dont forget to sign up for searchjuncture as you set out on this search thing. ac.gif
