Pia
There's no way you could get a 7 megapixel digi cam over here for $50 no matter what the label is. My Minolta is "only" 4 Megapixels and I got it prior to last christmas and it was $300....

So all in all I don't think that's such a bad deal ;-)

i think its bad sad.gif

i dont know
can u check in stores where u live about this camera plz?
smile.gif

I have never seen MEGXON brand being sold over here so I can't say what that particular cam would cost but Canon EOS 300D which is 6.3 Megapixels (professional system camera) goes for 844.90 ? smile.gif

Oh and naturally as my profile states I'm in Finland rolleyes.gif
galgalgal
oh ... tongue.gif
canon is de best i think thats nothing i can do with this info tongue.gif
and how can i be sure if the camera realy is 7mp?
i think its weird
cuz its squooshy pictures
and lots of dots like i can see the pixles sad.gif

Well I don't know that much about digi cams but it seems that the Megxon is complitely missing it's optical zoom (only has digital zoom) which is bad, you don't do much with digi zoom.

Also you might want to check to what resolution the cam has been putten (that kinda? determines the pixels?)

PICTURE RESOLUTIONS : 3072x2304 ( 7.0 MP ) 2880x2160 ( 5.0 MP ) 2560x1920 ( 4.0 MP ) 1600x1200 ( 2.0 MP ) 1600x1200 ( 2.0 MP )1280x 960 ( 1.3 MP ) 640x 480 ( VGA )

Ughhhh anyone a wizz with these? unsure.gif

I have a Canon Ixus 500 (LOVE it biggrin.gif ) And I paid about $550 for it ohmy.gif But it was worth it I think smile.gif

About the pixel size... if you open one of the pictures you have taken in a picture editing program like PSP or Photoshop... you can see the picture size there (usually in picture properties). Make sure that you set the resolution to the highest possible as Pia said. You can then compare the size...

And abot the pictures being blurry... have you checked the manual to change the settings in order to make it sharper?

If I understand your question. Yes the MP determines the number of pixels. It stands for Megapixels.

3072x2304 is roughly 7.08 million pixels
