I had a 8 pound turkey I made on Sunday for me and husband. That was our little Gobble Gobble Day for ourselves wink.gif

Tomorrow Im going down to see inlaws and they usually have a 20+ pound turkey

Then after them Im going to my parents, for another 20+ pound turkey.

Then to my brother in laws for wow...more turkey! That will most likely be another 20+ pounder for everyone that goes to his home.

Then I head to see my nephews and brother and wife and they usually have a 20+ pound turkey.

I'll definitely be well good til the next turkey day tongue.gif

Happy thanksgiving everyone who celebrates and to those that don't also have a great day smile.gif

Time to finish my mails, put everything on vacation mode, pray my boss lets us home early, because the railroad will be nuttier than any fruitcake today and get started on my apple pie smile.gif

I have never bought a turkey in my life. I've always been given a Christmas and a Thanksgiving turkey (and an Easter ham) by my employers. Even years after the company I worked 21 years for closed its doors locally, I still get two grocery tickets for turkeys and the tickets are very specific that the turkey be approximately 25 lbs. Needless to say my freezer is almost always full of leftover turkey. biggrin.gif

ohmy.gif I knew I forgot about something. My free turkey! Here i went and bought everything including the turkey last saturday for sunday's dinner and forgot to use my free turkey coupon.

This aging process is starting to kick in I see for me laugh.gif

I worked in a local hospital for years, along with my husband and we always got a turkey every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Neither one of us work there now - so we are on our on. With my health problems this year, and my problems with muscles and joints, I opted to buy a turkey and ham pre-cooked. All I'll have to do is heat it up. Will probably have to do the same for Christmas.
