i actually love ads, especially ads about new ptr programs

I read ads that aren't C&P'ed directly from the frontpage of a PTR program and I try to write ads that are funny or unusual or at the very least honest. I don't mind C&P'ed ads but when I see one it kinda tells me the program or service being promoted is nothing special.

i don't know about nothing special, but i figure i can read the home page on my own LOL. i typically try to write something myself that is not on the home page. anything i advertise for as of late are programs for which i can provide an honest "testimonial" and that have been responsive, steady earners, not all search sites, and have paid me and/or have been recommended by a couple of webmasters that i trust (tammy and ladylillith to put the names up). i love reading ads that are interesting and are not redundant info that i will see on the site anyway. smile.gif

I like to read interesting ads, ones with a bit of flair or a good joke in them. People are getting more creative all the time and I love that... as long as its honest creativity rolleyes.gif I'm bored stiff by copy & paste home page ads - it makes me feel that the advertiser doesn't really care about the site they are promoting, though for all I know it might be a pretty effective technique. Does anyone know how the two methods compare?

I don't know, I like to read the copy/pasted off the home page ads. I like to see up front what I'm going to. I know that by the time I get there, I will already know basically what the program offers, and I can look through their pages to see if the site is sustainable or not.
