Hi boys don't cry, I believe what you are doing is illigal and that you can get in big trouble here for it along with your american friend whos helping you. Im not sure about that but ya better find out before you both get into big trouble. Just my thoughts

What you are doing is illegal 100%, by signing up as being an American citizen, which is what you did, you a defrauding Paypal. Now I know I am against Paypal for some things, but when it is your own fault for doing it then you are to blame. If you had signed up as being from where you are, and been truthful about it then you wouldnt be in this spot.

wow raven I didnt know that . I have been with paypal for 3 or 4 years now but just in the past 4 months really been using them a lot, and they still havent asked me for id, but I guess since i have used my credit cards and my bank statement since i started well if i was ripping soemone off I THINK they would have complained by now LOL So I guess it is cause I have been there so long and using my bank account that I didnt get asked. oh plus they send something to your bank account to make sure it is really in your name that could have helped .

trouble is, as soon as he faxes his id stuff, paypal are going to find out that he is a Korean pretending to be an American. (slightly against their TOS i think)

Yep, and once they find out they will hand it over to the FBI/Customs for fraud. Then it will go back to his country, now if he's in the South he better watch out due to the alliance between South Korea and the US is quite strong, if he's in the North they wont give a ######.
