in 1/11/04 i send 90$ to one of my friends via e-Gold to get a product,
somehow he said he didnt got that payment, i checked and checked and everything was fine including the Batch and history and everything, he showed me a screenshot that he didnt got the payment so i sent e-Gold an email regarding this, and look what they wrote me back:

Your batch number is the confirmation that the e-gold account you spent to
has been credited.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have investigated
acct #******* and have placed a value limit on their account which will
prevent them from receiving any further spends into their account.
Unfortunately we will not be able to refund your money because an e-gold
spend is not reversible as stated in the e-gold account user at
http://www.e-gold.com/unsecure/e-g-agree.htm.

Thank you,
e-gold Service

Now ill never receive my money back or the product i paid for, just a lost of 90$ sad.gif

For a prior PO you should realize that egold does not refund money.

Screen shots can also be changed around easily wink.gif And if all was sent and you have the batch number then most likely your friend does have the money.

Terrible you lost your money, but its well known egold doesnt do refunds...the one drawback of the payment system.

Done per dark spirit wink.gif

If the payment didn't arrive, then that would be a MAJOR glitch in the system and they would be hearing about it from everyone affected. The case is that you either sent it to the wrong account, or your friend did receive it, but edited the screen shot to make it look like he didn't. In both cases thats not egolds problem, and after emailing them they interpretted your complaint to be against the recipient so they placed a balance limit on his account.

its not egold problem if someone cheating you and saying they didnt received money (or received less). If you sent money and it shows in your egold history, 100% other person received it!

This is not true. I am the WM of the ptr he spoke about, and I do not cheat! I received $0.01 in my e-gold account, even though he sent $11.01 However I am an honest person and I refunded the money to him that I did not receive. So there does appear to be a glitch somewhere in e-gold.

You would be surprised. Even the most simplistic of scripts can have bugs so why should something as sophisticated as egold be any different. I have had my fair shareof problems in the past with missing money etc and can assure you this is far from not possible.

The batch # did show $11.01 was sent, however only $0.01 was credited to my account. e-gold did respond with they are checking into it.
