part of why i love the net is that we judge eachother by our words and actions what else do we have. unless you have webcam lol. It has been the great equalizer i have made great freinds only to find out they are much younge or older of of diffferent religion or race later. It made no diff to me it was their actions that spole for them. NOt everyone opporates this way though and there are those that abuse this anonimity which makes it bad on all of us

I think there is not very much at all!
If this all leads back to hackers and cheaters that seem to swarm from a couple of certain countires.....well.....Are we to not say anything???
It is the truth.....why lie about it....but...a big BUT, it does NOT mean all people from these countires are ceaters and hackers.
I mean these people too are intitled to earn money like the rest of us.......some programs say you must understand and read english.....and I am a firm believer in this as I want my ads read...not just clicked on and when they get to the site I have advertised just ignore it, as they have no idea of what it says.....so for this I agree...
I think the thing here is not to group one country as all cheaters and hackers.......people must be judged on them selves and not where they are from...and the only way to do this is to have them e-mail the webmaster when wanting to join...there is no other way...I know it stinks, but we can not hide the fact that some countires harbour many, MANY cheaters.
That is my 2 cents worth......and I am not a racist....

Can you clarify what you are trying to ask?
Are you talking about racism / descrimination in general?
Or are you talking about webmasters blocking certain countries from joining PTR's?

Iceberg-Lettuce is a racist?
He could make a test to choose all members he want.
I understand! Business is Business.
If he want qualified members.
It is just.
But dont generalize people.

The webmaster of Iceberg Lettuce is Randy and he is NOT a racist. I am asian too and I do not like being generalized but Iceberg Lettuce not allowing Asians to sign up has nothing to do with racism. IMO, the word "racism" is used in the wrong place.

Should not say all Asians can't speak English. I know some have a much better understanding of the English language than I can.

There is plenty of racism online AND offline, however I don't see it being an issue in the PTR world.
I think stopping countries from joining a PTR because the majority of them are cheaters is only good business. It benefits us all.
If they were saying you can't join cause you're not white, or you're not American then that would be cause to raise a big ruckus. If that were happening, I think you'd see that those of us that are American and / or white would support you 100%.
If you feel like you're being discriminated against because you can't speak English as well as others, then that's just plain wrong and brings a different aspect to this topic.

in GPTR programs, there are only a few webmasters who ban whole countries. but in the rest of the online world, sure there is racism. but racism exists everywhere...and it's not only against minorities. minorities are even racist towards other groups of minorities. as long as there are differences between groups of people in the world, there is going to be conflict. welcome to reality.

wow sorry but i personally believe that racism exists in those cry out "racism". I am sorry but a black man can call me white trash and i won't like him because he called me white trash not because hes black. I don't believe that in the US there is much racism anymore, but I do agree that it exists. Being that I don't like some black people doesn't mean that I am a racist! That is where so many people who cry this are mixed up. I don't like certain black people just as I wouldn't like certain white people. One in the same, and I feel like thats the way most people in America feel. And i just think its a travesty that some universities in the U.S. have outrageous minority leaning. For instance,
At the university of Michigan, incoming WHITE freshman are required to score an 80 I believe on the competency test. However, incoming BLACK and HISPANIC fresman are required to get a 60 for acceptance. Now where do you draw the line? A white student can get a 79 and not get accepted where a student of minority gets a 60? I think this is a travesty.
Before you shout racism, just make sure your not ignorant to your own racism. Just because someone doesn't like you or doesn't agree with you and is of a different color, it doesn't mean he/she is racist.
thanks
BJ

yeah, i know a lot of people who don't like me just because they don't like me...not because of my race.
it's the people who judge me based on my race before they even get to know me that amounts to racism.
and a lot of times, those people aren't even white.
and sometimes, they're also asian.
and once in awhile, they're also vietnamese, just from a different region! (northern vietnamese...aka the commmunists in the war...hate the southern vietnamese and vice versa)
oh yeah, and some people hate me, just because im an american citizen...gosh, "american" isn't a race.
like i said, as long as there are differences in the world, there is going to be conflict. gosh, if everyone was one race, i wouldn't be surprised if it suddenly became tall people vs. short people.

As the saying goes:
I am one member of a conglomeration that exists without borders, without race, without age, without sex, without religion. We are afforded an opportinity to see ourselves as, and portray ourselves as anything we choose.
