I am so sick of mutiple threads for the same companies in complaints. You do not need to start a new thread of your own every time there is a complaint. Today I count like 10 threads on autovisitng. This is a waste of board space. I think mods need to consolidate these threads. I gave up looking for other complaints becasue of wading through these duplicate threads. If you have a complaint use one thread so all can imput in one place. As they say there is strength in numbers banning together. Complaints are less effective when done singly.

Here's a quick solution.. don't read em or don't go to the complaint folder smile.gif

I don't agree. If you are new or unfamilar with the program and see 1 complaint about a company you may go hmmmm, and it's easy to overlook 1 little thread you see a bunch of complaints that's going to tell you a lot of people are unhappy with the program and you probably will be too.

Oh so mature the two of you are. I was thinking about Igwong and the site here folks. It makes no sense to waste space by creating multiple threads about the same issue. It also makes more work for the mods here as well to have to open multiple threads when one would suffice. Comments like these have made very good people sick of GPF and they have left. This forum once was very productive but has turned into more of a clique type of forum where those not in a majority clique get bashed or chided for making PRODUCTIVE comments.

As for Reallybarb's statement I disagree from my perspective. I see mutiple single threads I am inclined to think it is done by one person or a few who want to beat up a program. When I see a single thread contributed to by many people it lends much more weight in my book to the complaints against a program.

Believe me, from a mod's point of view it's a LOT of work merging threads and making sure that only one thread is open for each program. Most of the time when people see their threads gone they'll just open up a new one.

In a perfect world it's a nice idea, but it's a lot of trouble outside of one.

I suppose that's true but don't you get sick of wading through threads to find things? If the search option on here worked a little better it would be nice but like you say not a perfect world.

I know what you mean about it being awkward to search for things, but then again, I work on quantity with complaints. I expect any complaint thread on Misty or Hauling to go for 5 pages at least, simply because these programs have a lot of supporters.

So, when checking up on a program I'm not sure about, I couldn't really use length as an indicator. However, if I see 20 threads pop up, I would be a little more concerned.

It's a pain to search for threads, and it is a pain to have to read through 20 different ones, but if something's worth doing, it's worth doing right smile.gif

The ones that irritate me are the people who post on the end of an existing thread, then start their own :s

Why complain? Autovisiting is good!

Got paid last week. If you don't believe me, well, check the proof of payment:

Obviously you didn't read what this thread was a complaint about. I was not complaining about autovisiting but rather the multiple complaint threads about it.
