It's hard to snap a picture when she has her tongue out. It is out a lot, just real quick!

And my Bearded Dragon sleeps in the funniest positions. This was him last night, notice the one leg just hanging, he sleeps a lot with a limb or two hanging.

Anyway, just thought I'd share something different...

Thanks,

Haha! Not that I know of. He's always in the same position come morning, even when he looks uncomfortable. He sleeps real good, that is for sure!

Before my mom and step-dad split up, we had a Burmese Python that was 14 ft long, and 3 Boa Constrictors @ 8 ft, 7 ft, and 4 ft.

My little bro got "nibbled" on by the Boas a couple times. laugh.gif They were pretty cool. I didn't want anything to do w/ that Python though ... it was huge. huh.gif It latched onto my little bro one night, on his lower arm, and started wrapping up his arm. It was horrible. ph34r.gif

I'm sticking to puppies from now on. laugh.gif

Thank you. And I happen to agree, she is a magnificent animal, but most people would not agree.

That is cool (except for the wrapping of your bro)! The big snakes are nothing to sneeze at, they are still wild animals. I once held a Reticulating Python that was right at 20 feet, they can be intimidating to say the least. I'd have more than just the 2 reptiles if I had the space and funds I need, it'll happen in time. I hope to someday own a Acanthurus Monitor (Ackie monitor).

Anyway, I am a real fan of exotic animals (and animals in general).

Thanks,
Jim

Yeah ... the snakes never really bothered me until the episode with my brother. We always had rabbits and mice around too ... naturally. laugh.gif

Speaking of Reticulating Pythons, one of my brother's dad's friends knew a guy that had one above the 20 ft mark. He kept the snake in a big walk in enclosure. Well one day the guy walked in there and the snake just slid down the tree onto the man's shoulder's and wrapped his upper body. The guy was pretty solid at 6'2. ph34r.gif He couldn't get the snake off of him so he grabbed a knife and started stabbing the snake until it released him. The man ended up dying and the snake, alive and well (albeit with punctures in it) was sent to a zoo. ph34r.gif

Scary stuffs. unsure.gif

Puppies are nice and fluffy don't ya think? laugh.gif

Wow! It's not the first time I've heard that kind of story. I can tell just from how strong my little girl (comparatively) is that the big ones could easily kill a full grown adult. I once saw a video of a Retic Python in the wild killing an adult Antelope and it took him hours to swallow it whole, antlers and all. It was amazing!

What gorgeous animals you have! I used to have two pythons, Nosy and Ripples. Well when Ripples died, Nosy had a broken heart and died about two weeks later. That is what I want to tell myself anyway. I took him to the vet and he found nothing wrong. I miss them both terribly! sad.gif
Thanks for sharing!
