OMG!! that is horrible. i sure hope they dont close my account that is where all my money is to be sent from my ptr programs i belong to . i have never had a problem with them and have been with them a couple years i hope my luck holds out. 180 days is a bit extreme i could see maybe 30 but wow thats a life time for money.

I spoke with them. they no longer wish to do business with me because I'm using paypal for advertising, etc. against their terms

so,

in 180 days which means 7/12 i will get a check from them.

gosh they suck big time! for real!!

and now when i launch coppercoins, paypal will no longer be a form of payment.

and it means i better update all my gptr programs to put my egold # in.

ah well.

this really hurts me now cuz the account was being used by other people as well because they dont have a paypal account or its not available in other countries.

okay.

i'll live with waiting for almost 5 grand to come to my address.

so, for any gptr program out there, be careful cuz they don't give a warning!

or refund it to Fred and ask him to send it elsewhere if thats where it came from.They did give you that option

this was a trade from the egold he sent to me and i traded it for paypal.

first the thief takes it, then i get it back and now paypal holds it.

and that is that someone told paypal that i'm a dishonest person trying to defraud people.

first i thought it was because others used my account.

You are right...sounds like someone is trying to get you anyway they can......This may or may not be linked to coppercoins.......This could be the work of someone who I will not mention.....Some people need to get a life...and leave innocent and honest people alone!

I never have over $60+ in my paypal account, I send it to my bank account. Being how paypal seems to be not a good online service.

They said the same thing to me when my account was frozen. That I was buying advertising and that was pyramid scheme. That was back in November to, never got it unfrozen. I don't even own an online business either.If you want I can get you some 800 numbers so you won't be running up your bill.

Keep calling them cause I get a different story every time I call and ask them about it. One minute they say they want a notarized letter and the next they say they don't. And they also said if I don't quit buying advertising they are going to close my account forever. I think PayPal is a crock of you know what.

wow thanks. i called their long distance # and they said they had no 800 numbers available to the public.

and to hubcaps: I did send my money to my bank account. someone wrote them emails and complained about me. Since all my money is intact, it can only mean that they gave the wrong amount that was given to me. this in itself should tell them that that person is lying about me being dishonest.

the personal account is in a totally different name then my business one.

so its okay. i'll wait 6 months like I said.

in the meantime, at noontime it will be 9 am for paypal my time, i'll call them for my business account and demand to know who is complaining about me.

I agree, I think Paypal sucks the big one, I still can't believe how many GPTRE programs are payout by Paypal only, after all the crap they've done to others. I guess they'll have to learn the hard way also.

They also froze my husband account about 5 days after he opened it. He didn't even get to use it. He hasn't sent them any of the info though so I don't know if they will unfreeze his or not. Even if they do unfreeze mine I don't think I'd ever use it again. I'm looking at other options now. Like what's in my sig.

and if so, then that means that the thief belongs to this forum and the only place where both of my accounts are listed is in the 300% sharing program for ezbucks.

and everyone was returned their money. without any fees being taken off. I took the fee loss for this.

and so someplace in that thread, either the thief is there, or the person emailing paypal about me is there.

either way, since my account doesnt have a dispute on it this means that they lied in the first place and paypal should just reinstate me for that and maybe freeze the person who complained in the first place.

I just find these sudden freezings of account to be alarming, surely if they disagree with someones dealing with their PayPal account, they could easily email them, warn them or tell them to take their money out because they no longer want them as a user.

I wouldn't mind betting these acts of keeping money for 180 days are in fact illegal, what do you think?

I've been leery of PayPal almost since I joined them. About a year ago, my account was frozen because of a ridiculous misunderstanding (this guy reported me accidentally; long story...PM me if you want to be bored silly and I'll tell it to ya ). Well, even with me explaining to them what happened, and this guy apologizing 2-3 times and even telling PayPal I did nothing wrong and offering to give me money and all this hooha, it still took 3 weeks or something before the account was unfrozen. That's with the person who made the complaint rescinding the complaint, and they still wouldn't fix it! I never keep more than $10 or so in there.

Hmm, very strange, so even without this complaint they STILL kept hold of your money?

I'm getting more and more suspicious of PayPal of late, I used to love them, but now dislike them and there ways of dealing with things, if you ask me, I may be 100% correct in thinking they're using these frozen assets in an illegal way!!!
