I started all this the beginning of August. I joined a paid survey site thinking I could earn money periodically doing surveys. I've earned $2 with that so far. WHOOPIE!

I was linked to PTR through this site. I didnt research it at all. I had never heard of it before. I thought that I'd try it out since it was free. If it worked out, great. If it didn't, ok. I want it to work because I see that it can.

I've joined and cancelled tens of programs. Out of the ten I'm in, I've requested payout on 3. I received payment from one (inboxdollars.com)and haven't heard about from the other 2. Now, my eyes have been opened to the possibility of scam sites and I'm afraid that all of the ones I'm in are scam sites. I see looking through this site that three that I cancelled are considered to be good. Here are the programs I'm in. Please comment. I'd like to get out of the bad and in the good ASAP.

Problem is sites can't afford to pay you more than a couple cents if that an email, just think a 5c email to 100 people $5 after 100 people click it the site goes into debt, and theres sites having $1 mails to the whole membership for cheap, it just doesnt work out ... mathmatically or in general.. some may get paid as a chance for them to scream praises about the program (randoms, or big promoters usually first to reach it, but all won't as they cant just afford it...

don?t believe programs with that high value per link, they don?t earn enough to pay their members, they just want the money from the advertisers...

regarding to the programs in which you are in at the moment, the best thing to do is to redeem for ad and leave, join a program that pay, you can go the praises and applauses folder and see there the most praised and then write a good ad for that program, and when the ad is up you can leave all these programs, lol

Thanks to both of you for your help and insight. I should even drop 1-800 (.05)and meggarich(.06)? They are both low amounts per link.

I was actually in gonefishin for about 3 weeks and was frustrated because for some reason, a lot of the pages would load blank.

Also, why do I still get search emails even though I never check off the box for search? I have no desire to view these sites and click on links in them. Will I be considered a cheater if I dont search the search pages?

these two sites have still a high value per link, a 5 cents paidemail for $5 sent to...let?s say 1000 members, this program only could pay to 100 members and these programs have much more members than 1000

notice that these two programs you said are n?t new, and no one here has claimed to be paid from them

Yeah I'd say to drop all the ones you signed up for too. Start again, the right way. There's lots of people here to help you.

I agree with all posts said and all programs. A fe more good ones are:

Earn With Email (7.50 payout)
States PTR (3 payout)
SoRedTheRose (2 payout)

Start off slow and even though it may look like you're not making a lot, if you work hard and refer people it will pay off. I read somewhere this morning already "better to have $3 in hand than $300 that will never be seen", and I totally agree.

No Points, just cash with a $5 cashout.

There is a 1 cent minimum for e-gold payout. Although it's small change, it does add up and you rarely have problems with payouts with any of these "small change" sites.

That's the problem. That are alot of scams on the Internet and I am sorry that you had to find out the hard way like many others who are trying to earn from these sites and others.
