Every time the server has an hiccup, Grace has to fix Wepaid .... now she is not online so couldn't do it.
The entire database is saved and backed-up, so, now it's only waiting until the server is completely fixed after having been hacked. It's the server that has been hacked, not Wepaid ....
So, please be patient, it'll all come back all right ;-)
Here a copy of a newsletter sent to all members this morning, some might not have received it because of the problems :
As you all know, WePaid was having technical problems yesterday.
This was the result of a hack against the server WePaid is hosted on.
They were able to keep the hacker out of the system but in the process,
had to reboot the system at least 15 times. Their actions have been
logged with their ISP and our webhost along with their ISP will be pursuing
legal action.
I apologize for any inconvenience, and please be reassured that no
data was lost.
The person who did this was a professional, but as good as this hacker
was, their efforts could do no more than cause a few hours of intermittent
downtime and some PHP errors.
Search emails sent Thursday will remain active until new ones are
sent Saturday.
