The majority people does not trust him going to war on terrorist?

I don't know how Kerry or Gore would have reacted to 9/11 had either been President at the time. My instincts tell me it would not have been a good thing. I do believe that President Bush did the best he could with the information the had at the time and with the situation he was handed. At the time of the attacks, almost everyone was in favor of the invasions and he had a lot of support for his decisions.
davidbugs
Pres bush get a lot of blame??

Why NO ONE COMPLAINING AGAINST BILL CLINTON POLICY?? GOING START BOMBING IN KOSOVO? What is the reason?

Maybe European like Bill Clinton, Because he is consider them a liberal.

Maybe the European and The Rest of the World Support only Democrats and Liberal Media. Not conserative media.

I did not see any ANTI-WAR GOING ON? When bill Clinton drop a bomb in kosovo in the 1990?

I am from Arkansas. I never did care for Bill Clinton. I couldn't believe he was elected President. I really couldn't believe he was elected twice. I think he has the morals of an alley cat. Don't get me started on Billy Bob.

He got elected because the liberal like him as president.

the main reason he got elected. THE ECONOMIC IS BOOMING IN THE 1990?

They are trying to do same thing GEORGE W BUSH to keep attack him because war on in IRAQ.

they did the same thing in FIRST GEORGE BUSH?

I never heard any complait against BILL CLINTON? what is the purpose GOING TO WAR IN KOSOVO? I did not heard any WMD in kosovo?

You too, Cindy? Did you wake up every morning those first 4 years thinking-I can't believe he's president? Hoping it was a bad dream. Then the next 4, thinking every morning I can't believe he's been re-elected, thinking somehow you had entered the twilight zone, or an opposite dimension of reality?

Unreal, totally unreal. Most of his domestic policies were not very good, and some of his foreign policy got us into this mess today.

er, ok, I should stop now. Just went to confession yesturday, and had a wonderful experience at mass and even at the restaurant afterwards. Don't want to lose what I got. wink.gif

First of all David, Kosovo was not bombed in 1990 but in 1999 smile.gif Clinton wasn't a President in 1990, his first term started in 1993.

Second, the bombing was not done by Clinton but by NATO. It was an agreed decision with NATO allies and the UN. The reason is not easy to explain. Yugoslavia has a long history of conflict, but basically it was to stop Slobodan Milosovic from "ethnic cleansings". Milosovic is now in jail (in my country) and is tried by the International Court.

Third, there were protests against the bombing, specifically in Europe. Many Europeans feared it would escalate into another Worldwar. It was a conflict in Yugoslavia that started the first World war, so perhaps you can understand why many European were afraid something like that would happen again.

The difference is that the Iraq war was started without the NATO or without approval of the UN. If there had been solid evidence that Iraq had WMD and ties with Al Qaida,
neither the UN or NATO would have disapproved. But there was no evidence.

I didn't vote for him. He makes me want to user posted image

When he was governor, he'd do all this stuff, then he'd go on Johnny Carson and apologize like a bad little boy and promise to do better....... then, well everyone knows the story. Made fools of all of us. I just don't think someone who can't control his person life while in office is a very effective leader, I mean, he didn't even try to hide it - and such obvious lies "I never had......with that woman....." Fortunately my chldren were very young and we didn't have to explain a lot of things to them, but I had friends who had to explain a lot of what was on the news to their kids and they were not happy about it. Early sex education.

Just like the republicans to shift blame to anyone but themselves. Can anyone simply tell me the last time we had tremendous economic growth with a Republican president?

And no, Reaganomics didn't work.
Mystical2000
Its a matter of fact for those who choose to believe that....and its a matter of opinion for those who choose to believe that.

Personaly I dont think it hurt Bush for his brother to be govenor of the state in question. It also didnt hurt for the person in charge of the election in that state to be on Bush's election committe.

I dont consider myself a Democrat, Rebuplican, Liberal or a conservative. I pick who I think can do a better job. Right now I think Kerry has a better idea of how to get us out of Iraq with a plan. I like his way of thinking on womens rights, I also like what he said about stem cell research. Seems that people want to rip Kerry up because he changed his mind on the Iraq issue. At the time that Kerry voted to go to war.... George Bush convinced almost everyone that there were WMD in Iraq. Now its a fact known by all that there weren't WMD in Iraq... so was it a lie or a mistake. If it was just a mistake it was a huge one and sorry but I dont want a president that makes those kinds of mistakes that costs people their lives. According to Bush though its still justifiable because well..... Saddam was a bad guy...

LOL, I'm not republican or democrat. I am independent. Makes no sense to me to vote for someone just because they are a part of a "party".

Im not an independant. I always thought that a copout for people who couldnt make a decision. I vote for the most qualified person AND for the party to which they belong. You can't have one without the support of the other. Do you think quite honestly that an 'independant' candidate could get anything accomplished with a partisan house or senate?

Right now, Im real hard pressed to vote for Mr Bush (not 'georgie', or 'dubya') and the rampant croney-ism that is the Republican party.
roadrunner
As an independent, I can vote for whomever I choose. Whether it be Bush or Kerry, it will be the candidate I think is better. I don't vote for someone strictly because my "party" tells me too and won't let me make a decision for myself.

Its my opinion...sorry judges picked who was the american president not the people. I will stand by Jimmy Carter. At least he has the conjones to say it like it is. He believs it too. Nobody will convince me that the whole florida voting was legit ..lol. I just think its ironic that Bush's brother was the governor of the state in question and yes other "ironic" things like mystical said.

You can believe what you want. Just like people believe Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman in the Kennedy assasination. You can believe that too if you want wink.gif

One thing I forgot to say I am totally surprised at first that the Australian people re elected Howard. I thought for sure because of the Iraq thing and his.. "support" (I am sure you would call it something else) of Bush he was doomed. But then again the Australian military hasnt lost one soldier in Iraq....so I guess that makes sense.
