Dewitte gone home yet??
My opinion here, Dutch style, no messin'
Myn beurt:
Starting of with the text about de ondergrond (the underground), I was hoping to hear a flaming protest against the wrongs in our country. Hmm... not much of that... too many repetitions in the text, can't he think of anything to say??
Music: not enough bass, drums too loud.
Overall: mediocre/needs more work.
Da break part 101:
Rick, you've got talent!!? Fantastic. Solid, almost classical composition (did you have music lessons?). A little suggestion: what about sounding the bass notes of the chords longer? Like a basso continuo in Baroque music?
Who/what else is gouing to be on the CD?

It's Tewitte, not Dewitte
I like the text by myself. But you're right there are some repetions in it... Only chorus should repete, other lyrics shouldn't be repeted. it's not a protest against the underground, this is just his style, don't want to be called underground or mainstream...
I told about the bass, this is not one of my favrite beats....
Longer chords could be nice, but I created a "Da break part 02" too, part 01 is a short, fast, light, less bass. The part 02 is the dark side. Deep bass and weird, slow beat. Not everyone describes it as hiphop. I'll upload it later today, I haven't got time now....Need to go back to my lessons!

(I'm at school

)
But thanks for this nice review of the two tracks, very nice of you to be honest about those tracks
...Rick
added: don't know who'll be else on the CD, they're all underground MC's. I hope it will be a nice CD with high quality
